Moraitis Nikolaos Dr, MD, DAS, MAS

Dr. Moraitis Nikolaos MD, DAS, MAS is a Psychiatrist - Psychotherapist with a private practice in Thessaloniki. He completed his medical studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Medicine and fully completed his Psychiatry specialty in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Additionally, he holds a diploma in medical Psychotherapy (Diploma of Advanced Studies DAS & MAS) from the University of Zürich, Switzerland. He has been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, deep psychological orientation (Tiefenpsychologische Psychotherapie), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Systemic Psychotherapy, including CBT techniques, Schema Therapy, and has experience in the assessment of mental disorders through psychometric tools such as OPDII. Furthermore, he has been trained in dementia, psychosomatic diseases, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and addictions. He has extensive experience, having worked in various institutions in Switzerland, and currently serves as the Director of the three outpatient clinics of the Psychiatric Psychotherapy department covering the entire spectrum of Clinical Psychiatry at Psychiatrische Dienste Aargau AG, providing specialized assessments, diagnosis, and treatments for mental and neuropsychiatric disorders including addictions. Finally, he specializes in disorders related to mood disorders, anxiety and trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosomatic illnesses, bipolar disorder, all types of substance addictions, psychoses, paranoid schizophrenia, Asperger’s autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
