Gouliaris Antonios

Gouliaris Antonios is an Internal Medicine specialist with a private practice in Glyka Nera. He is an Honor Graduate PhD of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a degree from the same institution. He specialized in Internal Medicine at the Therapeutic Clinic of the University of Athens at the General Hospital "Alexandra." He pursued further training in France, with a scholarship from the French government, in the field of "Respiratory Pathophysiology" & "Respiratory Diseases" at the University Hospital of NANCY - INSERM Research Center. Additionally, he received further training at the University Hospital of London "Kings College Hospital" in "Intensive Care," and at "Saint Christopher Hospice" in "Palliative Medicine" and "Pain Management." For several years, he has worked as an Attending Physician at the University Intensive Care Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and as an Attending Physician and subsequently Director at the Intensive Care Unit of the Athens Medical Center. To this day, he serves as the Director Internist of the Athens Medical Center at the Maroussi Clinic and the Psychiko Clinic. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and has publications in Greek and international journals. Finally, a significant milestone in the doctor's medical career was in 1982, when he was awarded the "Sotiris Papastamatis Award" by the Medical Society of Athens for the best research work of the year: "The Concentration of 2,3-DPG in Red Blood Cells in Idiopathic Hypertension."
