Gkaragkanis Georgios MD, MSc

Gkaragkanis Georgios MD, MSc is a Urologist - Andrologist Surgeon and has maintained a private practice in Haidari since 2014. He completed his Urology Specialty at the Urology Clinic of the General Hospital "Asklipieio" Voula, with a specialization in Endourology, Lithiasis, and Uro-Oncology. He is certified in urinary tract ultrasonography following additional training at the General Hospital of Nikaia. Furthermore, Dr. Gkaragkanis specialized in Reconstructive Surgery of external genital organs and Pediatric Urology at the "Sava Perovic Foundation" in Belgrade. He has participated in clinical educational seminars on Andrology and workshops on Endourology, Robotic Surgery, and Reconstructive Urology. He holds a postgraduate degree in Healthcare Management from Cnam University in Paris. His research work includes 11 publications in international journals and 49 presentations and communications at Greek and international conferences, and he has been awarded for the best paper-presentation at the 8th ESGURS Pan-European Congress in Madrid. His main scientific interests are endourology, reconstructive surgery, and andrology, and he is a member of Greek and international scientific societies, including the Hellenic Urological Association, the European Association of Urology, and the European Society of Sexual Medicine. Finally, Dr. Gkaragkanis is the Director of the Urology Department at the Bioclinic of Piraeus.
