Το 2015 αποφάσισε να συνεχίσει στον ιδιωτικό τομέα, οπότε υπέβαλλε την παραίτηση του και έκτοτε εργάζεται στην Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών σαν Διευθυντής Ογκολογικού Τμήματος.
