Xatsidis Giorgos MD

Giorgos Xatsidis is a Pathologist-Oncologist affiliated with the Henry Dunant Hospital Center. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. He completed his training in Medical Oncology at the Thessaloniki Anti-Cancer Hospital “Theageneio.” He has engaged in cancer biology, particularly cancer immunology, both theoretically and in research, participating in the activities of the Immunology-Histocompatibility Laboratory of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly, applying molecular and cellular immunology methods. Having acquired knowledge in basic research, he continued to provide comprehensive clinical care services to patients with cancer. He is certified for his competence by the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncologists and the European Society of Medical Oncology, having successfully passed their educational programs. He has participated as a researcher in clinical trials of therapies for patients with head and neck cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, and bladder cancer. Since 2019, he has been providing care for patients with neoplasia at the private clinic “Henry Dunant” in Athens. A patient-centered and empathetic approach, combined with the strength of knowledge, lies at the core of the high-quality care he provides to his patients.
