Oncologist with experience in Lung cancer

Ο Πανόπουλος Χρήστος, MD, PhD, είναι Ογκολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην οδό Ξενίας 3, έναντι Πλατείας Μαβίλης. Είναι Διευθυντής Ογκολογικού Τμήματος της Ευρωκλινικής Αθηνών. Είναι Διδάκτωρ του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με Διδακτορική Διατριβή με θέμα: "Χορήγηση από του στόματος ετοποσίδης και εστραμουστίνης σε ασθενείς με ορμονοάντοχο καρκίνο του προστάτη". Έλαβε το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου της Genova στην Ιταλία, με βαθμό Άριστα. Εργάσθηκε σαν Ερευνητής στο ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο. Ακολούθως, μετά την υποχρεωτική υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στην Μεσσηνιακή Μάνη, ειδικεύθηκε στην Παθολογία στο Γ’ Νοσοκομείο ΙΚΑ. Μετά την λήψη της ειδικότητας εργάσθηκε στο Ογκολογικό Νοσοκομείο "Άγιοι Ανάργυροι", όπου του απονεμήθηκε η ειδικότητα της Παθολογικής Ογκολογίας το 1998, όταν θεσπίσθηκε η ειδικότητα στην Ελλάδα. Υπηρέτησε διαδοχικά σαν Επιμελητής στα Ογκολογικά Νοσοκομεία "Άγιοι Ανάργυροι" και "Άγιος Σάββας", όπου εξελίχθηκε στον βαθμό του Διευθυντή της Β’ Ογκολογικής Κλινικής. Το 2015 αποφάσισε να συνεχίσει στον ιδιωτικό τομέα, οπότε υπέβαλλε την παραίτηση του και έκτοτε εργάζεται στην Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών σαν Διευθυντής Ογκολογικού Τμήματος. Έχει συμμετάσχει, σαν ερευνητής και υπεύθυνος επιδοτούμενου ερευνητικού προγράμματος για την κληρονομικότητα του καρκίνου του μαστού και των ωοθηκών και σαν υπεύθυνος του κληρονομικού καρκίνου και γενετικής συμβουλευτικής στο Νοσοκομείο "Άγιος Σάββας". Διετέλεσε Διευθυντής Σπουδών της Ελληνικής Ακαδημίας Ογκολογίας. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε πολυάριθμα Ελληνικά και Διεθνή Συνέδρια και Σεμινάρια και έχει δώσει εκατοντάδες διαλέξεις και ομιλίες σε στρογγυλά τραπέζια, δραστηριότητες, που συνεχίζονται και με την συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικά πρωτόκολλα. Έχει συμμετάσχει στην συγγραφή επιστημονικών συγγραμμάτων και μελετών σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Είναι κριτής (Reviewer) εργασιών διεθνών επιστημονικών περιοδικών. Τέλος, είναι ενεργό μέλος πολλών ελληνικών και διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών και μέλος του ΔΣ της Αντικαρκινικής Εταιρείας. Έχει εκπαιδεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό ειδικευομένων στην Παθολογία και την Παθολογική Ογκολογία για περισσότερες από 2 δεκαετίες και συνεργάζεται με την "Επιστημονική Εταιρεία Φοιτητών Ιατρικής Ελλάδος" στην οργάνωση επιστημονικών εκδηλώσεων και την συγγραφή επιστημονικών άρθρων.

Dr. Konstantinos Xydis, BSc, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Radiation Oncologist with many years of experience in Germany, not only in the treatment of malignant diseases but also in the modern application of Low-Dose Radiation Therapy (LDRT) for benign musculoskeletal disorders.

He collaborates with the HYGEIA Hospital (Athens), IASIS – Gavrilakis General Clinic and Evangelisches Krankenhaus Wesel in Germany.

He completed his specialization at Metaxa Oncology Hospital in Greece and at the University Hospital Essen in Germany.

He has served as Senior Consultant (Attending Physician) and Consultant at the University Hospital Essen in Germany and as Director at Evangelisches Krankenhaus Wesel in Germany.

He has extensive experience in radiation therapy for musculoskeletal conditions such as knee and hip osteoarthritis, heel spur, and elbow epicondylitis (tennis/golf elbow).

Dr. Konstantinos Xydis, BSc, MD, MSc, PhD, ist Facharzt für Strahlentherapie und Radioonkologie mit langjähriger Erfahrung in Deutschland – nicht nur in der Behandlung bösartiger Erkrankungen, sondern auch in der modernen Anwendung der Niedrigdosis-Strahlentherapie (Low-Dose Radiation Therapy – LDRT) bei gutartigen Erkrankungen des Bewegungsapparates.

Mitsogianni Maria is an Internal Medicine - Oncology Specialist based at YGEIA-MITERA Hospitals in Marousi. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed the postgraduate program "Thoracic Oncology" as well as her doctoral thesis at the same university.

She has worked for 7 years in Germany at Klinikum Oldenburg, Johanniter Krankenhaus Rheinhausen, and Marienhospital Düsseldorf, specializing in the fields of Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. In Greece, she has worked at the Oncology Hospital of Kifisia "Agioi Anargyroi" and served as a collaborator at the Oncology Unit of the "Sotiria" Hospital.

She has attended numerous conferences and educational seminars both in Greece and internationally, has a significant number of international publications, and participates as a lecturer in postgraduate programs at the University of Athens.

Since 2022, she has been a collaborator and Head of Clinical Studies at the 4th Medical Oncology Clinic of DTKA YGEIA and is the attending physician at MITERA Hospital.

Marinos Stamatios is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculologist with a private practice in Glyfada (within the BIOCARE diagnostic center). Ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή στο Εργαστήριο Λειτουργικού Ελέγχου της Α’ Πανεπιστημιακής Πνευμονολογικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου Νοσημάτων Θώρακος Αθηνών "Σωτηρία" με βαθμό "Άριστα".

Ioannis Chatzidakis BSc, MSc, PhD is an Oncologist who maintains a private practice in Marousi. After graduating from the Hellenic-German High School of Athens, he completed his studies at the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2006. Subsequently, he earned his Interdepartmental Master's Degree in Molecular Medicine with excellence ("Excellent") in 2009. Simultaneously, he was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Thessaly (from which he graduated in 2013). Continuing his postgraduate studies, he completed his doctoral dissertation titled "Molecular Prognostic Markers (predictive - prognostic) in Gastric Cancer" with an "Excellent" grade at the 2nd University Preparatory Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Oncologist Karagiannis Athanasios, at the Athens Bioclinic, is responsible for the complete design and administration of systemic (intravenous or oral) therapy such as classic chemotherapy and primarily immunotherapy and targeted molecular therapy, based on the results of molecular testing conducted on the tumor of each specific patient, aiming for individualized therapeutic selection in accordance with global guidelines, thus providing patients suffering from cancer access to the latest therapeutic options in immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

In our Oncology Department, numerous patients with lung cancer, stomach and intestinal cancer, pancreatic, liver, and biliary tract cancer, bladder and kidney cancer, and breast cancer are monitored.

Additionally, emphasis is placed on the complex therapeutic management of metastatic and advanced cancers through the simultaneous application of systemic and local therapies (directly to the metastatic site) in collaboration with the specialized interventional radiology department of the Athens Bioclinic. 

Petsinis Georgios is a Pulmonologist - Phthisiologist who maintains a private practice in Marousi. In parallel, he serves as a Scientific Collaborator at the Oncology Clinic of the Athens Medical Center. He holds a Medical Degree from the University of Patras and completed postgraduate studies in Thoracic Oncology (M.Sc) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
