Sardelis Zafeiris MD

Sardelis Zafeiris MD is a Pulmonologist with a private practice in Metamorfosi. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and obtained his specialty in Pulmonology - Tuberculosis at the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos". He has received further training and specialization in Interventional Pulmonology at the 1st University Pulmonology Clinic of the General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases of Athens "Sotiria," and holds the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine from the European Respiratory Society. He has received specialized training in advanced life support (ALS), chest ultrasound examination, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) at recognized centers in the United Kingdom. Throughout his professional career, he has served as a Second and First Consultant in Pulmonology Clinics at the General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases of Athens "Sotiria," where he currently serves as a Consultant Director of the 7th Pulmonology Clinic of the same hospital. Additionally, he worked for two years as a Consultant at Gloucester Royal Hospital, NHS, UK (2012-2014), and is a scientific collaborator at the Athens Medical Center in Marousi. He is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom, regularly participates in pulmonology conferences in Greece and abroad, and is fluent in both Greek and English.
