Το κύριο αντικείμενο της δραστηριότητάς του είναι η χειρουργική ουρολογία, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη ρομποτική χειρουργική και στην αντιμετώπιση ουρολογικών παθήσεων που απαιτούν χειρουργική θεραπεία. Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει η χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου του προστάτη και η ρομποτική ριζική προστατεκτομή. Παράλληλα, ασχολείται με τη χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση παθήσεων και όγκων του νεφρού, της ουροδόχου κύστης και του ουρητήρα, καθώς και με τη λιθίαση του ουροποιητικού και τις παθήσεις του προστάτη. Ανάλογα με την πάθηση και τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά κάθε περιστατικού, εφαρμόζονται σύγχρονες χειρουργικές τεχνικές, όπως η ρομποτική, η λαπαροσκοπική, η ενδοσκοπική και, όπου απαιτείται, η ανοικτή χειρουργική.

Στον τομέα του καρκίνου του προστάτη, η προσέγγιση επικεντρώνεται στην εξατομικευμένη αξιολόγηση κάθε ασθενούς και στην επιλογή της κατάλληλης θεραπευτικής στρατηγικής. Όταν υπάρχει ένδειξη για χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση, η ρομποτική ριζική προστατεκτομή αποτελεί μία από τις βασικές χειρουργικές επιλογές, με στόχο την ογκολογικά ασφαλή αφαίρεση του όγκου και, όπου αυτό είναι εφικτό με βάση τα χαρακτηριστικά της νόσου, τη διατήρηση της εγκράτειας και της σεξουαλικής λειτουργίας. Η ίδια εξατομικευμένη προσέγγιση εφαρμόζεται και στις χειρουργικές παθήσεις του νεφρού, της ουροδόχου κύστης και του ουρητήρα, όπου η επιλογή της τεχνικής καθορίζεται από το είδος και την έκταση της νόσου, αλλά και από τη συνολική κατάσταση του ασθενούς.

Παράλληλα με τη χειρουργική του δραστηριότητα, ο Σταύρος Βουρεκάς ασχολείται με το σύνολο των παθήσεων της Ουρολογίας και της Ανδρολογίας, όπως την καλοήθη υπερπλασία του προστάτη, τη λιθίαση του ουροποιητικού, τις παθήσεις των νεφρών και της ουροδόχου κύστης, καθώς και προβλήματα ανδρικής σεξουαλικής υγείας. Στο πλαίσιο της διάγνωσης και της θεραπευτικής αντιμετώπισης πραγματοποιούνται οι απαραίτητες ουρολογικές εξετάσεις και μικροεπεμβάσεις, ενώ για τα περιστατικά που χρήζουν χειρουργικής θεραπείας ο ασθενής ενημερώνεται αναλυτικά για τις διαθέσιμες επιλογές και την καταλληλότερη μέθοδο αντιμετώπισης.

Η επιστημονική και επαγγελματική του πορεία περιλαμβάνει συμμετοχή σε επιστημονικές εργασίες και δραστηριότητα σε θέματα ουρολογικής ογκολογίας, χειρουργικής του προστάτη και ρομποτικής χειρουργικής. Η μετεκπαίδευσή του στο Karolinska University Hospital και η σημερινή του θέση ως Διευθυντή Κλινικής Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής στο Metropolitan General αποτελούν σημαντικά στοιχεία της εξειδίκευσής του στη σύγχρονη χειρουργική Ουρολογία.

Ο Κουτσοκώστας Ευάγγελος είναι Χειρουργός Ουρολόγος - Ανδρολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην οδό Ευελπίδων 59 στην Κυψέλη. Είναι απόφοιτος της Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και κάτοχος Ευρωπαϊκού Τίτλου Πιστοποίησης Ουρολογίας (FEBU). Ειδικεύθηκε στην Ουρολογία στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας Κωνσταντοπούλειο – Αγία Όλγα, με εκπαίδευση σε πληθώρα ανοικτών και ενδοσκοπικών ουρολογικών επεμβάσεων (TURis - TURB). Είναι κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Τίτλου Σπουδών (MSc) από την Ιατρική Σχολή Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο αντικείμενο «Νεοπλασματική Νόσος στον Άνθρωπο: Διάγνωση, Σύγχρονη Θεραπεία και Έρευνα», με διπλωματική εργασία στο νεφροκυτταρικό καρκίνωμα, καθώς και κάτοχος πιστοποιητικού επιμόρφωσης του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστήμιου Αθηνών στην «Ανδρική Υπογονιμότητα: Εργαστηριακή Διερεύνηση και Θεραπευτική Αντιμετώπιση». Έχει εξειδικευθεί στη νόσο von Hippel-Lindau στο University Medical Center Freiburg, έχει εκπαιδευτεί στο Σχολείο Ουροδυναμικής της Μονάδας Ουροδυναμικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, ενώ έχει λάβει πιστοποίηση στην υπερηχογραφία του ουροποιογεννητικού συστήματος στο Γενικό Αντικαρκινικό - Ογκολογικό Νοσοκομείο «Άγιος Σάββας». Σήμερα είναι Επιμελητής Α’ στη Δ’ Ουρολογική Κλινική του Ερρίκος Ντυνάν Hospital Center, ενώ συνεργάζεται και με το Metropolitan General, το LUMEDICA Clinic και το Doctors' General Clinic.

Tsimiliotis Dimitris is a Urologist - Andrologist and maintains his private practice in Chalkida. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2005, and in 2007 began his training as a Military Doctor and soldier in Limnos. In 2009, he served as a Rural Doctor at the PEDY Health Center Tropaea in Arcadia. Aristeidis Zarogiannos is a Urologist - Andrologist and maintains a private practice in Kolonaki. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Military Officers School of Corps (S.S.A.S). Stelios Xintzoglou MD, FEBU is a Urologist - DaVinci Robotic Surgeon specializing in prostate, bladder, and kidney surgery. He is fellowship trained at the largest Uro-Oncology centers in the United Kingdom over a decade. For the past 4 years, he worked as an NHS Consultant (Director level) before returning to Greece. He has performed and participated in more than one thousand robotic surgeries with a concurrent specialized clinical interest in General Urology, Prostate Hyperplasia, and Lithiasis. He has served as a Robotic Surgery trainer for fellow urologists as well as nursing staff. 

Specifically, he specialized at the University College London Hospital (UCLH), ranked 7th among the Best Specialized Urology Hospitals worldwide for 2023 and 2024 according to Newsweek magazine. He also trained at Royal Surrey Hospital, one of the leading robotic pelvic urology centers with the highest case volume in the UK, where he also worked as a Consultant. Additional clinical experience was acquired in Cambridge, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, and Lincoln. 

He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and completed his specialty training at Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki in 2014 before relocating to the United Kingdom. In the same year, he obtained the European Board of Urology certification (Fellow of the European Board of Urology, FEBU). 

Dr. Stournaras Periklis MD is a Surgeon Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Ilioupoli. He has specialized in the Surgical Clinic and the Urological Clinic of the General Hospital "Polyclinic of Athens." He has been trained and has performed numerous surgical procedures concerning general and specialized urological issues, as well as in modern urology covering all contemporary therapeutic and surgical methods (endourology, laser, andrology, urinary incontinence, urolithiasis, oncology, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery). Dr. Sotiriadis Dimitrios MD, PhD is a Urologist - Andrologist with a private practice in Thessaloniki. He is an honor graduate PhD in Urology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Medical Degree from the Military Medical School of Thessaloniki (SSAS). Additionally, he is a graduate of the Supreme Inter-Branch War College and has received specialized training in "Major Urological surgeries - cystectomies and radical prostatectomies" at the First University Urology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in "Male infertility" at the Hippocrates General Hospital of Thessaloniki. Beyond his private practice, he is currently an Associate of the Blue Cross Clinic, Euromedica, and has previously served as Consultant and Director of the Urology Clinic in Health Units at the 424 General Military Training Hospital and at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens.
