Georgopoulos Ioannis MD, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist and maintains a private practice in Piraeus. Since 2022, he has been collaborating with the Modern Urology team based at Lefkos Stavros and maintains a private practice in Nea Makri, Attica. Since 2024, he holds the position of urology consultant at the “Ygeias Melathron” hospital.

Έχει ολοκληρώσει το πρόγραμμα μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας με τίτλο "Χειρουργική Κάτω Κοιλίας, Ελάσσονος Πυέλου και Περινέου". Κατά την διάρκεια του προγράμματος εκπόνησε διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο "Θεραπεία της κυστεοκήλης με τοποθέτηση πλέγματος". Επιπλέον, είναι υποψήφιος Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Θέμα της διατριβής αποτελεί η "Ταυτοποίηση και συγκριτική μελέτη του μικροβιώματος των ούρων με τον ουροθηλιακό καρκίνο της ουροδόχου κύστης".
