Karamihalakis Nikolaos

Dr. Karamixalakis Nikolaos is a Cardiologist, Deputy Director of a private hospital in Marousi, and maintains a private practice in Psychiko. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, he has an advanced degree in heart failure from the University of Zurich and a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He specialized in Cardiology at the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos," where he also spent an additional year in the Hemodynamic Laboratory, focusing on the implantation of cardiac devices and electrophysiological procedures. Since 2022, he has been an honorary participant in the arrhythmia program at GSNA 401, performing complex arrhythmia interventions. He has been awarded a scholarship by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), where he attended the Electrophysiology Laboratory program at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona, and received an award from the Heart Failure Study Group for his work entitled "Ventricular-Arterial Coupling Predicts Response to Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy." He has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the General Hospital of Rhodes and at DTKA Hygeia. Furthermore, he has participated as a researcher in multicenter studies such as "ENGAGE AF," "FOURIER," "VICTOR," and "STRIDE," and has numerous publications in international conferences and medical journals focusing mainly on implantable cardiac devices, arrhythmias, interventional cardiology, and heart failure. He manages a wide range of cases with scientific rigor and expertise, always prioritizing the individual needs of each patient.
