Είναι κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Τίτλου Σπουδών στη Λοιμωξιολογία της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου (Άριστα), καθώς και απόφοιτος του Σχολείου Ηπατολογίας της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Μελέτης Ήπατος. Είναι συγγραφέας σε πολλά επιστημονικά άρθρα σε έγκυρα επιστημονικά περιοδικά του εξωτερικού.
