Ο Δρ Δημήτρης Κοτζαμπασάκης, MD, PhD, MSc είναι Χειρουργός Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος με ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευση στη ρινολογία, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική ρινός και τη λειτουργική και αισθητική ρινοπλαστική.

Είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Semmelweis και αριστούχος διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Το 2017 ολοκλήρωσε με βαθμό Άριστα τη διδακτορική του διατριβή με τίτλο «Συμβολή στη μελέτη της ποιότητας ζωής ασθενών που υποβλήθηκαν σε ρινοπλαστική», η οποία διερεύνησε την επίδραση της ρινοπλαστικής στη λειτουργικότητα, την ψυχολογία και τη συνολική ποιότητα ζωής των ασθενών.

Το διάστημα 09/2025– 02/2026 συμμετείχε στο διδακτικό έργο του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών ως εντεταλμένος διδάσκων, διδάσκοντας το μάθημα «Νευροηθική και σύγχρονη Ιατρική πράξη», ενώ συνεχίζει να συμμετέχει ενεργά σε επιστημονικές δραστηριότητες και συνέδρια.

Η ιατρική του εκπαίδευση ξεκίνησε με ειδίκευση στη Γενική Χειρουργική σε μεγάλα νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας και στη συνέχεια συνέχισε την ειδικότητά του στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία ενηλίκων και παίδων, αποκτώντας εμπειρία στη διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση επειγόντων και χρόνιων ΩΡΛ παθήσεων. Σημαντικό μέρος της εκπαίδευσής του πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Κωνσταντοπούλειο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Πεντέλης, όπου εξειδικεύτηκε στη διαχείριση ΩΡΛ περιστατικών παιδιών.

Παράλληλα ανέπτυξε ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την πλαστική χειρουργική του προσώπου και τη ρινοπλαστική. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό συνεργάστηκε με τον πλαστικό χειρουργό Σ. Κοτζαμπασάκης, αποκτώντας σημαντική εμπειρία στις τεχνικές λειτουργικής και αισθητικής αποκατάστασης της ρινός.

Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε στη ρινολογία και την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική των παραρρινίων κόλπων, παρακολουθώντας σειρά μετεκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων και χειρουργικών workshops στην Ελλάδα, στην Ευρώπη και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 34 μετεκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, παρακολουθώντας συνεχώς τις εξελίξεις της ειδικότητάς του.

Από το 2004 έως σήμερα έχει πραγματοποιήσει περισσότερες από 3.500 ρινολογικές επεμβάσεις και επεμβάσεις λειτουργικής ρινοπλαστικής, με έμφαση στη βελτίωση της ρινικής αναπνοής και της αισθητικής αρμονίας του προσώπου.

Το 2021 ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Διοίκηση Μονάδων Υγείας στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο. Παράλληλα έχει αναπτύξει επιστημονική δραστηριότητα με δημοσιεύσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά και ανακοινώσεις σε συνέδρια.

Είναι συγγραφέας στο επιστημονικό βιβλίο «Ερωτήσεις – Απαντήσεις Ρινολογίας», ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 30 εθνικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια.

Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών, της European Rhinologic Society, της European Rhinoplasty Society και της Πανελλήνιας Εταιρείας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας – Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου.

Έχει επίσης εργαστεί στην Α’ Παιδοχειρουργική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου Παίδων «Αγλαΐα Κυριακού» καθώς και στην υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στο ΓΝΚΥ Σητείας και το Περιφερειακό Ιατρείο Ζάκρου, όπου λόγω της πανδημίας και των αυξημένων αναγκών υπηρέτησε εθελοντικά και στην COVID κλινική του νοσοκομείου.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκπαίδευσης και της επαγγελματικής του πορείας έχει αντιμετωπίσει πληθώρα κλινικών περιστατικών που καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα της ΩΡΛ, από την πρωτοβάθμια φροντίδα έως και τις πιο σύνθετες χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις. Η χειρουργική του δραστηριότητα περιλαμβάνει επεμβάσεις ρινός και παραρρινίων κόλπων, ωτολογικές και λαρυγγικές επεμβάσεις, καθώς και χειρουργικές παρεμβάσεις κεφαλής και τραχήλου, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη ρινολογία και στις σύγχρονες ενδοσκοπικές τεχνικές. Παράλληλα, έχει αναπτύξει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για τις παθήσεις του λαβυρίνθου και τη διάγνωση και θεραπεία του ιλίγγου.

Έχει ενεργή συμμετοχή σε διεθνή και πανελλήνια συνέδρια, με παρουσιάσεις και δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα επιστημονικά περιοδικά, ενώ παράλληλα διαθέτω εμπειρία στη διδασκαλία φοιτητών Ιατρικής. Είναι πιστοποιημένος ALS Provider (Advanced Life Support) και μιλάει άριστα αγγλικά.

Διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό ιατρείο σε συνεργασία με τον πατέρα του και επιστημονικό συνεργάτη Μιχαήλ Χουλάκη, προσφέροντας ολοκληρωμένη και σύγχρονη φροντίδα σε παιδιά και ενήλικες με ΩΡΛ παθήσεις.

Δίνει ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα στην επικοινωνία με τον ασθενή, αφιερώνοντας χρόνο ώστε να εξηγήσει με σαφήνεια την πάθηση από την οποία πάσχει και να τον καθοδηγήσει στην κατάλληλη θεραπευτική λύση. Στόχος του είναι η δημιουργία σχέσης εμπιστοσύνης και η παροχή εξατομικευμένης ιατρικής φροντίδας που συνδυάζει την επιστημονική τεκμηρίωση με τον σεβασμό στις ανάγκες και τις ανησυχίες του κάθε ανθρώπου.

Mariolis Lampros is an Otolaryngologist who maintains a private practice in Korydallos. He collaborates with the First ENT Clinic - Head and Neck Surgery at Metropolitan General and the ENT Clinics of the "Mitera" and "IASO" Hospitals. Additionally, he is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated with distinction – a grade of 8.2 – from the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania in Italy. He has also undergone specialized training in Otolaryngology at Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield, United Kingdom. He has one Greek publication, participates in research protocols, scientific papers and presentations, and continuously stays updated on the latest developments in his field through specialized courses abroad, national conferences, and targeted seminars, thereby acquiring comprehensive expertise and continuing education. Finally, Dr. Lampros is a member of the Piraeus Medical Association, the Panhellenic Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Hellenic Rhinologic Society – Facial Plastic Surgery, as well as the General Medical Council.
