Dr. Gkekopoulou Anastasia, MD, MSc, is an Interventional Cardiologist. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and subsequently completed her specialty training in Cardiology at the University Hospital of Cologne, Germany. She specializes in interventional cardiology as well as cardiac ultrasound (triplex, transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo). She served as Attending Physician at Maria Hilf Hospital Bergheim, where she gained extensive experience in the full spectrum of emergency cardiology, ranging from acute myocardial infarction to heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and life-threatening arrhythmias. She holds an Executive Master of Science in the Economics of Cardiovascular Sciences from the London School of Economics. Xatzis Mixalis is a Specialist Cardiologist who also maintains a private cardiology clinic in Vrilissia. Simultaneously, he serves as a consultant cardiologist at the 3rd Cardiology Department of Metropolitan General Hospital and at the Praxis Ygeias Polyclinic. After obtaining his cardiology specialty, he was selected as a fellow by the Hellenic Cardiological Society for further training in advanced echocardiographic techniques (stress echo, transoesophageal echocardiography, Strain, 3D Echo), which he is undertaking at the Echocardiography Training Center of G.N.P. Tzaneio, "D. Beldekos."
