Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών στις "Ενδαγγειακές Τεχνικές" από το ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο.
