Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ειδικεύτηκε στην Ορθοπαιδική και Τραυματολογίας και ακολούθως με την εξειδίκευσή του εξ’ ολοκλήρου στο Västernorrlands Regional Sjukhus της πόλης Sundsvall και στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Norrlands Universitetssjukhus (NUS) της πόλης Umeå στη Σουηδία. Έπειτα εκεί εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής και καθοδηγητής νέων ειδικευόμενων ιατρών της ειδικότητάς του. Επιστρέφοντας στην Ελλάδα εργάστηκε για 2,5 χρόνια ως επιμελητής - επικουρικός ιατρός στην Ορθοπαιδική κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Χαλκίδας. Έχει συμμετάσχει στη συγγραφή επιστημονικών μελετών και άρθρων τα οποία αποτελούν μέρος της διεθνούς επιστημονικής βιβλιογραφίας. Συνεργάζεται με νοσοκομεία της Βόρειας Ευρώπης σε Σουηδία και Νορβηγία παρέχοντας τις υπηρεσίες του ως επιμελητής (consultant surgeon / specialistläkare).

Vandoros Gerasimos is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Agios Dimitrios and is an associate of Mediterraneo Hospital in Glyfada. He specializes in the treatment of osteoporosis, arthroplasty, sports injuries, arthroscopy, microsurgery, as well as the conservative management of osteoarthritis with local injection therapies including hyaluronic acid, concentrated platelets - growth factors, and mesotherapy.
