Είναι απόφοιτη της Οδοντιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Από τα πρώτα έτη των σπουδών της έχει εργαστεί πλάι σε καταξιωμένους οδοντιάτρους διαφορετικών ειδικοτήτων στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (Η.Π.Α., Βέλγιο, Ισπανία). Από το 2015 μέχρι το 2019, παρακολούθησε μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα σπουδών και απέκτησε την ειδικοτήτα της Ορθοδοντικής (MSc. in Advanced Orthodontics & Orthopedics) από το Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο της Μαδρίτης (Universidad Europea de Madrid). Πιστοποιήθηκε επίσημα ως ιατρός Invisalign (Invisalign Platinum Elite II provider) και είναι απόφοιτη του Master στην Αόρατη Ορθοδοντική (Invisalign® System), με διδάσκοντα τον Dr. Arturo Vela. Εκπαιδεύτηκε , επίσης, και πιστοποίηθηκε στην εφαρμογή ακίνητων γλωσσικών αγκυλίων (“σιδεράκια”) με τη ψηφιακή μέθοδο Incognito. Το 2015 μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στη Γερμανία και πιστοποιήθηκε στη μέθοδο της Αόρατης Ορθοδοντικής με τη χρήση διαφανών ναρθήκων “Clear Aligner”. Έχει βραβευτεί για ερευνητικές της εργασίες και έχει συμμετέχει σε παρουσιάσεις εργασιών σε διεθνή συνέδρια, καθώς και έχει δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Από το 2019, οργάνωσε και στελέχωσε το Athens Dental Care σύμφωνα με τα διεθνή πρωτόκολλα άσκησης της ορθοδοντικής κι ασκεί την ορθοδοντική στην κλινική μας. Είναι καθηγητής Ορθοδοντικής στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα του Πανεπιστημίου C.E.U. San Pablo στη Μαδρίτη και επίσημος ομιλητής της Invisalign σε Ελλάδα και Ευρώπη. Απόφοιτος και διδάκτορας (PhD) της Οδοντιατρικής Σχολής του Ευρωπαϊκού Πανεπιστημίου της Μαδρίτης, διαθέτει εξειδίκευση στην Προχωρημένη Ορθοδοντική (MSc Advanced Orthodontics), καθώς και επιπλέον εξειδικευμένα Masters στην Αόρατη Ορθοδοντική (Invisalign® System) και στην τεχνική Tip Edge Plus, υπό την καθοδήγηση του Dr. Arturo Vela. Γιακουμάκη Πηνελόπη

Έμπειρη και πολυσχιδής άσκηση της ορθοδοντικής με μακρά πορεία στην οδοντιατρική επιστήμη και έντονη κοινωνική δράση. Απόφοιτη της Οδοντιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές της στο Παρίσι, συνδυάζοντας την οδοντιατρική με σπουδές στις ανθρώπινες επιστήμες. Η επαγγελματική της πορεία ξεκίνησε από το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο και συνεχίστηκε με σημαντική επιστημονική δραστηριότητα στην Ελλάδα, ως συνεργάτης της Οδοντιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών, ιδρυτικό μέλος της εταιρείας της Κοινωνικής Οδοντιατρικής. Το 2006 ίδρυσε την κλινική Athens Dental Care, υλοποιώντας το όραμά της για μια πρότυπη με πολυειδικότητες οδοντιατρική δομή με έμφαση στην ολοκληρωμένη και σύγχρονη προσέγγιση της στοματικής υγείας, αλλά και στην "πράσινη" διαχείριση. Φοίτησε στην οδοντιατρική σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Manchester (2001) της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας κ στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε στο Μanchester Royal Infirmary στο τμήμα της γναθοχειρουργικής καθώς επίσης ασχολήθηκε με την οδοντιατρική φροντίδα παιδιών και ατόμων με ειδικές ανάγκες σε διάφορες κλινικές στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του Manchester. Κατέχει τον τίτλο Membership of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh MFDS (rcsed), που την κατέστησε μέλος του κολεγίου του Εδιμβούργου. 

Το 2009-2012 φοίτησε στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης όπου ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα της Ορθοδοντικής και παράλληλα απέκτησε το τίτλο Μεταπτυχιακού (MSc). 

Παράλληλα το 2010 μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στη μέθοδο Ιnvisalign όπου πλέον χρησιμοποιεί στην πλειοψηφία των ασθενών της.

Ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται ως Ορθοδοντικός στο ιδιωτικό της ιατρείο στην Αθήνα (Ν. Σμύρνη) και παράλληλα εργάσθηκε ως Ορθοδοντικός στην οδοντιατρική κλινική του Ταμείου Υγείας Προσωπικού Εθνικής Τράπεζας θεραπεύοντας μικρούς και μεγάλους ασθενείς. 

Από το 2015-2020 εργάστηκε στη μεγαλύτερη ορθοδοντική κλινική στο Ντουμπάι όπου ασχολήθηκε εκτεταμένα με τη μέθοδο Invisalign (αόρατοι νάρθηκες) με μεγάλη επιτυχία.

Emmanouil Perrakis is a Specialist Orthodontist and operates a private clinic in Piraeus. He studied Dentistry from 1995 to 2000. She is a Scientific Associate in Orthodontics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has participated in volunteer programs with The Smile of the Child and Doctors of the World. Additionally, she has a presence at international and Greek scientific conferences in the field of Orthodontics with presentations and lectures, as well as numerous publications in international and domestic journals. Gratsia Sofia DDS, MSc is a Specialist Orthodontist (officially recognized specialty by the Central Health Council of the Ministry of Health) and maintains a private practice in Cholargos, also collaborating with the Happy Tooth Clinic in Voula. She was admitted to the Faculty of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, ranked 1st, receiving an honorary award from the University from where she graduated in 2016.

She commenced her specialization in Orthodontics at the Orthodontics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma, and was awarded the title of Specialist Orthodontist following examinations by the Central Health Council (K.E.S.Y.) of the Ministry of Health. As part of her specialization program, she completed a thesis entitled “Cervical headgear effectiveness in distalizing molars in relation to patients’ compliance,” which was published in the European Journal of Orthodontics.

In addition, she has presented her research at national and international orthodontic conferences and journals.
