He graduated from the School of Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Military Academy. He obtained his orthodontic specialty title and MSc in Sweden after completing the 3-year specialty program at the University of Gothenburg. He has also received further training in Dental-Medical Sleep Medicine at Tufts University in Boston.
