Papageorgiou Ioannis is a specialist orthodontist and holds a PhD in Orthodontics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He maintains two orthodontic clinics, in Peristeri and Zografou. Η επαγγελματική της πορεία ξεκίνησε από το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο και συνεχίστηκε με σημαντική επιστημονική δραστηριότητα στην Ελλάδα, ως συνεργάτης της Οδοντιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών, ιδρυτικό μέλος της εταιρείας της Κοινωνικής Οδοντιατρικής.
