Ο οφθαλμίατρος Ιωάννης Αγραφιώτης διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Μελίσσια.Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (2000-2006) και ασκήθηκε στην ειδικότητα της Οφθαλμολογίας, πρώτα στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο «Παίδων Πεντέλης» και μετά στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο «Αμαλία Φλέμιγκ». Παράλληλα, φοίτησε στο μεταπτυχιακό «Βιοστατιστική» του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών παίρνοντας το δίπλωμά του τον Ιανουάριο του 2012. Το Δεκέμβριο του 2012 απέκτησε τον τίτλο ειδικότητας της Οφθαλμολογίας. Στη συνέχεια, απέκτησε και το Ευρωπαϊκό Δίπλωμα Οφθαλμολογίας (European Board of Ophthalmology)

Από την άνοιξη του 2013 ως το φθινόπωρο του 2021 έζησε κι εργάστηκε στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία και συγκεκριμένα στα νοσοκομεία Rotherham NHS Trust και Northampton General Hospital. Τα χρόνια αυτά εξειδικεύτηκε στην Παιδο-οφθαλμολογία και στη μελέτη και χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση του στραβισμού. Παράλληλα, ως Paediatric Ophthalmology Fellow, συμμετείχε στο πρόγραμμα πρόληψης της Αμφιβληστροειδοπάθειας των Πρόωρων Νεογνών (Retinopathy of Prematurity Screening) Από το Δεκέμβριο του 2021 είναι Επικουρικός Επιμελητής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Ελευσίνας «Θριάσιο» όπου αντιμετωπίζει καθημερινά τακτικά αλλά και επείγοντα περιστατικά. Το αντικείμενό του περιλαμβάνει την αντιμετώπιση καταρράκτη, γλαυκώματος, παθήσεων της ωχράς κηλίδας ενώ είναι υπεύθυνος και για το Παιδο-Οφθαλμολογικό Ιατρείο του Νοσοκομείου.

Εξαιρετικός γιατρός και πάνω απ’ όλα άνθρωπος! Τον χρειάστηκα εκτάκτως Σάββατο για ένα επώδυνο πρόβλημα στο μάτι και με εξυπηρέτησε αμέσως. Με εξέτασε προσεκτικά, μου εξήγησε τι συμβαίνει και με βοήθησε πολύ, τόσο με την αγωγή όσο και με τον καθησυχαστικό τρόπο του. Μου έδωσε σαφείς οδηγίες και ήταν διαθέσιμος για επανεξέταση αν χρειαζόταν. Τον ευχαριστώ πραγματικά για το ενδιαφέρον και την άμεση ανταπόκριση. Τον συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!
