Εργάστηκε, επίσης, ως Ερευνητικός και κλινικός συνεργάτης στο Ελληνικό ΄Ίδρυμα Υγείας (Hellenic Health Foundation) υπό την εποπτεία της Καθηγήτριας των Πανεπιστημίων Αθηνών και Harvard κας Αντωνίας Τριχοπούλου στα προγράμματα ‘’Consortium on Health and Ageing: Netwotk of Cohorts in Europe and the United States” και ‘’Υδρία’’. Eίναι ιδρυτικό μέλος της Διεθνούς Εταιρείας Έρευνας της Αλληλεπίδρασης Ψυχικών και Σωματικών Νοσημάτων. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε σημαντικό αριθμό ξένων και ελληνικών συνεδρίων, καθώς και ξενόγλωσσων και ελληνικών δημοσιεύσεων. Τέλος, διατελεί Διευθυντής του τμήματος Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας στο Athens Eye Hospital.

Dr. Eleni Messini, MD, PhD, is a Ophthalmic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Ilisia. She studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens, from which she graduated with honors. She specialized in Ophthalmology at the Athens Eye Hospital. She holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens. Kolea Aggeliki is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Peraia, Thessaloniki. She holds a medical degree from the School of Health Sciences at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Xanthi and the Ophthalmology Department of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Agios Dimitrios."
