Mpampoglian Oxanes - Ovik

Mpampoglian Oxanes - Ovik (Baboghlian Hovhannes) is a Mental Health Counselor with a private practice located in Neos Kosmos, Athens. He is a graduate of the Center for Applied Psychotherapy and Counseling. He continued his studies in the Psychology Department of the Pedagogical University "Ch. Ambovian" in Yerevan, Armenia. As part of his training as a Mental Health Counselor, he completed his internship at the street magazine "Schedia," and has attended numerous seminars and conferences in the field of Mental Health, aiming for continuous self-improvement and enhancement of the knowledge and services he provides. In his sessions, he adopts an integrative model of counseling and psychotherapy (person-centered, psychodynamic, existential, cognitive-behavioral, and systemic) to identify the most appropriate methodology that will be helpful and beneficial to each visitor. His distinctive experiential counseling approach is the result of many years of experience in multicultural issues, therapeutic work with socially vulnerable groups, and voluntary activities in community settings. He accepts clients dealing with issues in managing interpersonal relationships (individual or couples), grief and losses, phobias, anxiety disorders, depression and anger management, psychosomatic symptoms, eating disorders, as well as matters of self-improvement and self-awareness. He is a regular member of the Hellenic Society of Counseling and the European Association for Counselling.
