Zisiadis Dimitris MD, MSc, PhDc, is a General Surgeon and Director of the Surgical Clinic at the Medical Center of Athens - Psychiko, with private practices in Kifisia, Agios Dimitrios, Ilion, and Psychiko. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a master's degree in Bioethics from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace. Additionally, it is worth mentioning his specialization in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France, Minimally Invasive surgery for inguinal hernia repair at IRCAD, and training in robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery. He has participated in thousands of surgeries for critically ill patients during his surgical practice in the public sector, as well as numerous advanced surgical reconstructions abroad, with a strong commitment to implementing these techniques in Greece. He has served as a collaborating Surgeon in numerous private centers in Greece, Italy, and the UK (London), participating in a wide range of general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures. He employs the most modern equipment and state-of-the-art techniques worldwide. He has also been trained in the repair of inguinal hernia, hydrocele, and ventral hernia using double mesh and local anesthesia. Finally, he has actively participated in numerous surgical conferences in Greece and courses organized by the Hellenic Surgical Society.

Ioanna Papadopoulou is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Cholargos and Glyfada. She performs exclusively laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as all types of abdominal wall hernias. She received her Medical Degree from the “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2012. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Messinia – Kyparissia Nursing Unit in 2013–2014. In 2021, she obtained her surgical specialty certification.

During her specialty training, she served at the 417 Army Fund Nursing Institution (N.I.M.T.S), where she specialized in advanced laparoscopic surgery for malignant colon diseases, obesity, reflux, and hernias, as well as thyroid malignancies. Additionally, at the Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, she participated in a large volume of colon and thyroid cancer surgeries. Considering that the present of surgery lies in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, she attended advanced laparoscopic seminars organized by ELPEN under the auspices of the Hellenic Surgical Society from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, she completed further training in Surgical Oncology, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Finally, in 2023, she received additional training in the latest methods for managing complex diaphragmatic hernias and reflux at the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery in Malta.

Mr. Delimpaltadakis Giorgos is a General Surgeon who maintains his private practice in Heraklion. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Athens, a Doctorate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Master's degree in Health Services Management. He received further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and upper gastrointestinal surgery at Leeds General Infirmary and the Department of Surgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in the United Kingdom. From his extensive experience, we highlight his tenure as Director of the Surgical Clinic at Venizeleio Hospital and as Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at Sitia Hospital.

Mpalodimou Foteini is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Filothei. She was born in Kavala and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She then commenced her specialty training in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Drama and completed it at the Athens Cancer Oncology Hospital "Agios Savvas". During her specialty training and afterwards, she received awards in 1997, 1999, and 2000 as part of the Continuing Education Seminars of the Hellenic Surgical Society. Subsequently, for a period of six months, she specialized in Intensive Care at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko". With a scholarship from the Hellenic Surgical Society, in 2005 she specialized at the Institut Gustave Roussy Hospital in Paris in Surgical Oncology and Breast Surgery. She is a regular member of the Hellenic Cancer Society and the Hellenic Surgical Society. The surgeon practices privately in the healthcare sector and is involved in the following areas of General Surgery: Breast Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery (for which she has attended numerous seminars in Greece and abroad), and Surgical Oncology. In the field of Surgical Oncology, following her specialization at the Paris Cancer Center, she applies the technique of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemotherapy. She is a scientific collaborator with Hygeia and Mitera Hospitals and also cooperates with clinics such as Metropolitan, Lefkos Stavros, and the Athens Clinic.

Mantonakis Eleutherios MD, MSc, PhD is a General Surgeon, Doctor of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Director of the I' Surgical Clinic at Errikos Dynan Hospital, with a private practice in Kolonaki. He has completed postgraduate studies in Liver, Biliary Tract, and Pancreatic Surgery and specialized in General Surgery at the A’ Surgical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at Laiko Hospital. He received further training in Laparoscopic Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the University Hospitals Beaujon and Georges-Pompidou in Paris. He also underwent advanced training in minimally invasive management of anorectal diseases (Laser LHP, SiLaC, FiLaC) in Germany. He is a member of the International Society for Laser Applications in Proctology. Moreover, he possesses significant research experience, having participated in numerous scientific conferences both as an attendee and as a speaker or with scientific presentations, and he has numerous publications in foreign languages.

Η Δρ Πετροπούλου Θάλεια είναι ειδική Χειρουργός Παχέος Εντέρου και έχει διεθνή κλινική και ακαδημαϊκή καριέρα μεταξύ Ελλάδας και Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Έχει πραγματοποιήσει χιλιάδες λαπαροσκοπικές και ρομποτικές επεμβάσεις και πρόσφατα έγινε η πρώτη Ελληνίδα χειρουργός που έλαβε την παγκόσμια διάκριση "Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery" από τον διεθνή οργανισμό SRC (Surgical Review Corporation), αναγνώριση που απονέμεται σε χειρουργούς υψηλής εξειδίκευσης και ποιότητας φροντίδας.

Είναι πρωτοπόρος στη ρομποτική και λαπαροσκοπική χειρουργική του παχέος εντέρου (Ελάχιστα Επεμβατική) και είναι η μόνη Ελληνίδα Χειρουργός που είναι πιστοποιημένη από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ακαδημία Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής του Παχέος Εντέρου (EARCS). Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και αναγορεύτηκε Διδάκτωρ γενικής χειρουργικής από το ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο.

Είναι εκπαιδεύτρια Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής στο διεθνή φορέα εκπαίδευσης της Intuitive, την Ακαδημία ORSI στο Βέλγιο. Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου Χειρουργών του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου (FRCS) και διαπιστευμένη ενδοσκόπος από την JAG και πιστοποιημένη τόσο για διαγνωστική όσο και για θεραπευτική ενδοσκόπηση (EMR, ESD).

Κατέχει διεθνείς διακρίσεις για πρωτοποριακές και καινοτόμες τεχνικές στη Ρομποτική Χειρουργική.

Το 2022 πραγματοποίησε την πρώτη Ρομποτική Κολεκτομή δια φυσικών οπών- χωρίς τομή στην κοιλιά (NOTES) στην Ευρώπη.

Το κέντρο της είναι το μοναδικό στην Ελλάδα που πραγματοποιεί αυτή την επέμβαση.

Το 2024, πραγματοποίησε πρώτη παγκοσμίως προηγμένη ρομποτική επέμβαση με χρήση τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για real-time πλοήγηση και αναγνώριση εργαλείων και οργάνων.

Συμμετέχει ενεργά ως προσκεκλημένη ομιλήτρια σε διεθνή συνέδρια για τη ρομποτική χειρουργική και τα ERAS πρωτόκολλα, συμβάλλοντας στην εξέλιξη της ρομποτικής χειρουργικής χειρουργικής παγκοσμίως.

Stratigos Panagiotis is a General Surgeon and sees patients for consultation at the outpatient Surgical Clinic of the private Lumedica clinic in Peristeri. He holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the Medical School of the same university. He specialized in General Surgery at the following hospitals: General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio," General Hospital of Nikaia "Agios Panteleimon," and 251 Air Force General Hospital. Since 2007, he has been serving at the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis," where he currently holds the position of Director of General Surgery. He has served as Senior Registrar (Grade A and B) at the General Hospitals of Athens "Elpis," Mytilene, and Lemnos, and has also worked as a Locum General Surgeon in MULTIPLE hospitals in the United Kingdom. His specialization is General Surgery, with a particular interest in modern surgical techniques. He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the General Medical Council (UK), and the International Society of Surgery (ISS-SIC).

Spyropoulos Xaralampos is a General Surgeon, PhD holder from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and maintains a private practice in Chalandri. Additionally, he is the Director of the 3rd Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan General and a National Trauma Trainer in Greece and Cyprus, certified by the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras, specialized in General Surgery at the University Hospital of Patras, and further specialized in minimally invasive management of emergency surgical pathologies at the I.R.C.A.D - E.I.T.S. Laparoscopic Surgery Center in Strasbourg, France. Subsequently, he received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery of the upper gastrointestinal system and laparoscopic bariatric surgery at the DRK - Krankenhaus - Clementinenhaus hospital in Hanover, Germany. Moreover, he completed a postgraduate program in Clinical Laboratory Specialties at the University of Patras. Furthermore, he has worked as a General Surgeon at the "Eugenideio" Therapeutic Center, the "Rea" General Clinic, the University Hospital of Patras, and Stepping Hill Hospital in the United Kingdom. Finally, the physician is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Surgical Society, the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, the Hellenic Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology, the Hellenic Breast Surgery Society, and the Hellenic Society for the Application of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology.

Dr. Ioannis Zouridakis, MD, MSc, is a General Surgeon and Breast Specialist who has maintained a private practice in Korydallos since 1994 and recently within REA Hospital. He is a Scientific Collaborator and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a doctoral thesis completed during his studies. He specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and further specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Montpellier in France. He attended the European Advanced Level Course in Breast Disease Management for Surgeons in Athens and specialized in the treatment of breast diseases at the 6th Oncology Hospital "G. Gennimatas." Subsequently, he specialized in hernia surgery using dual mesh PHS & Prolene 3D Patch at Umberto I Hospital in Italy and also specialized in Minimally Invasive Operating Techniques in Colorectal Surgery. He has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics and has served for many years as the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital. Currently, he works daily as a Surgeon – Laparoscopist – Breast Specialist (Consultant Surgeon) at the General and Maternity Hospital REA, one of the most modern hospitals in Greece. Finally, he has attended and participated in over 100 medical conferences in Greece and abroad.

Mpaltas Ioannis is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He specializes in Minimally Invasive, Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery as well as Colorectal Surgery. Additionally, he has expertise in modern proctologic surgery (hemorrhoids, anal fissure, pilonidal cyst). He has extensive experience in the effective and safe surgical management of obesity, hiatal hernia, digestive system disorders, and abdominal wall hernias. Mousiolis Dimitris MD, MSc, cPhD is a General Surgeon with a private clinic in Ilion. He graduated from the Medical School of Plovdiv University and obtained his specialty in General Surgery from the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis". He holds a postgraduate diploma in Liver - Biliary - Pancreatic Surgery from the Medical Department of Democritus University of Thrace and a Diploma from the Hellenic School of Mastology. Additionally, he has received specialized training in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bariatric surgery, vascular access, sentinel lymph node biopsy, as well as in Laparoscopic & Robotic General Surgery. He specializes in the modern management of perianal diseases and has received specialized training in the minimally invasive treatment of perianal conditions (hemorrhoids, pilonidal cyst, perianal fistulas, anal fissures, condylomas) using specific surgical lasers (LHP, SiLAC, FiLaC) as well as in the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease with the use of ultrasound. Kazamias Mixalis is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Piraeus. He studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School and specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas." He has served as Chief Resident and subsequently as Director of the Surgical Clinic at the Regional General Hospital of Syros. He possesses extensive and notable clinical experience. Panagiotakis Emmanouil MD, PhD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Marousi. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a doctoral degree from the Department of General, Oncological Surgery and Visceral Surgery at the University of Hannover. He specialized at a major Oncology Center in Bremen, Germany (Klinikum Bremen Mitte - Academic Hospital of the University of Gottingen), and has also obtained subspecialty certification in proctology following examinations in Germany. Kouzanidis Nikolaos MD, MSc is a General Surgeon with private practices in Nea Ionia and Ampelokipoi. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and has completed postgraduate studies in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and telesurgery at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
