Ο Δημήτρης Π. Λαπατσάνης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός με εξειδίκευση στη Μεταβολική και Βαριατρική Χειρουργική, καθώς και στη χειρουργική του ανωτέρου πεπτικού συστήματος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Ιλίσια.Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων το 1990 με βαθμό Άριστα και ειδικεύτηκε στη Χειρουργική στο Γ.Ν.Α. «Ο Ευαγγελισμός», όπου απέκτησε τον τίτλο του Χειρουργού το 1996. Το 2000 έλαβε το Ευρωπαϊκό Δίπλωμα Χειρουργικής (FEBS) στο Εδιμβούργο, ενώ στη συνέχεια μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στη λαπαροσκοπική και ρομποτική χειρουργική του ανωτέρου πεπτικού στο Istituto Clinico Humanitas (ICH) στο Μιλάνο (2001–2003).Από το 2004, επικεντρώνεται στη βαριατρική και μεταβολική χειρουργική, εφαρμόζοντας σύγχρονες, ελάχιστα επεμβατικές τεχνικές για την αντιμετώπιση της παχυσαρκίας και παθήσεων όπως η γαστροοισοφαγική παλινδρόμηση, οι όγκοι του ανωτέρου πεπτικού και οι μεγάλες διαφραγματοκήλες.Είναι Πιστοποιημένος Χειρουργός Αριστείας στη Βαριατρική και Μεταβολική Χειρουργική, με διαπίστευση από το European Chapter of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO-EC), έναν διεθνή οργανισμό που πιστοποιεί ιατρικά κέντρα υψηλών προδιαγραφών.Διαθέτει εμπειρία άνω των 3.000 επιτυχημένων επεμβάσεων, εφαρμόζοντας τεχνικές όπως η επιμήκης γαστρεκτομή (sleeve gastrectomy), το γαστρικό bypass, το SASI και το SADI.Από το 2009 έως το 2014 υπηρέτησε ως Επιμελητής Α΄ στη Δ΄ Χειρουργική Κλινική του Γ.Ν.Α. «Ο Ευαγγελισμός», ενώ από το 2014 έως το 2023 διετέλεσε Διευθυντής της ίδιας Κλινικής, συμβάλλοντας καθοριστικά στην ανάπτυξη της βαριατρικής μονάδας και στην παροχή εξατομικευμένων θεραπευτικών προσεγγίσεων για την παχυσαρκία. Meropouli Antonia MD, PhDC is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Consultant Surgeon at Metropolitan Hospital, and a scientific associate at various other private hospitals. Dr. Lazaros Lazarou is a General Surgeon, certified in surgical oncology of the colon and rectum, pancreas, stomach, liver, and thyroid gland, as well as in proctology, with specialized expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures. He maintains a private medical practice in Volos, Greece. He studied and specialized in Germany, where he pursued a career in Surgery. He completed his residency at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery of the University Hospital of Ulm, where in 2007 he obtained his Board Certification in General Surgery and was appointed Consultant Surgeon, while in 2010 he acquired the qualification in Advanced Visceral Surgery. At the same hospital, he also served as Scientific Coordinator and Medical Director, with responsibilities including: coordination of the Visceral Oncology Center (esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, colon and rectum, endocrine glands, peritoneal and other metastases, sarcoma), director of the Oncological–Visceral Tumor Board, delegate for the education of medical students at the Center for Surgical Medicine, transfusion officer of the department, coordinator of the research programs of the Visceral Oncology Center, officer responsible for quality assurance of the Department of General, Visceral, Thoracic and Transplant Surgery, as well as member of the committee of the German Cancer Society responsible for the certification of Centers of Excellence in Visceral and Oncological Medicine. Mr. Lazaros Lazarou returned to Greece with his family, aiming to offer his extensive surgical experience and scientific expertise acquired at leading German and European certified centers where he worked. His commitment focuses on personalized treatment based on Greek and international protocols, access to minimally invasive surgery, optimal surgical outcomes, absolute transparency and trust, as well as continuous education and innovation. Darom Aleksandros is a General Surgeon and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a private practice in Piraeus.
