Agalianos Xristos is a General Surgeon and operates a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Military Academy of Corps Officers (ΣΣΑΣ) in 2002 as a medical officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed his specialty in General Surgery in 2011 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Navy Hospital of Athens. Emmanouilidis Mixalis MD MSc FACS is a Surgeon, Senior Consultant of the First Surgical Department at Ygeia Hospital, a Centre of Excellence in Hernia Surgery within the Department of Abdominal Wall Hernia Repair Surgery (SRC).

He specializes in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery – Laparoscopic and Robotic – as well as in the Modern Treatment of Anorectal Disorders – Hemorrhoids and Pilonidal Sinus using Laser technology.

He holds a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Surgical Oncology from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.He has received specialization and certification in Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair with 3D Mesh (TEP and TAPP) from the Royal College of Surgeons, the Surgical Training Institute (STI), and the leading mesh company BD - Bard.

Alivizatos Vasileios MD, PhD is a general surgeon, Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and former Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at the General Hospital of Patras "Saint Andrew," where he served for a total of 36 years as a specialized surgeon. During his career, he received advanced training in liver-biliary-pancreatic surgery in Bern, Switzerland; new hernia repair techniques in Mechelen, Belgium; and Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral, Enteral) in Manchester, United Kingdom. He has attended numerous advanced training seminars in the USA and has participated in 139 medical conferences (74 in Greece, 65 abroad, mainly Europe, USA, Asia), presenting scientific clinical studies as well as delivering lectures and talks upon invitation by medical societies. Furthermore, he has 124 publications of clinical studies in Greek and international medical journals and books, with 4 of his published studies in international medical journals cited 119 times in studies by foreign authors (citation index). He has extensive experience in surgical procedures of minor and moderate severity (hernias, pilonidal cyst, lipomas, biliary diseases, anal conditions, etc.), as well as major surgeries (benign and malignant diseases of the stomach, small and large intestine, kidney, uterus, ovaries) and benign and malignant diseases of the pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors, pancreaticoduodenectomies Whipple). Currently, he practices in the private sector, covering the full spectrum of general surgery as well as Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral and Enteral, gastrostomies, enterostomies) for patients with chronic conditions who are unable to be fed orally.

Ioanna Papadopoulou is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Cholargos and Glyfada. She performs exclusively laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as all types of abdominal wall hernias. She received her Medical Degree from the “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2012. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Messinia – Kyparissia Nursing Unit in 2013–2014. In 2021, she obtained her surgical specialty certification.

During her specialty training, she served at the 417 Army Fund Nursing Institution (N.I.M.T.S), where she specialized in advanced laparoscopic surgery for malignant colon diseases, obesity, reflux, and hernias, as well as thyroid malignancies. Additionally, at the Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, she participated in a large volume of colon and thyroid cancer surgeries. Considering that the present of surgery lies in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, she attended advanced laparoscopic seminars organized by ELPEN under the auspices of the Hellenic Surgical Society from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, she completed further training in Surgical Oncology, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Finally, in 2023, she received additional training in the latest methods for managing complex diaphragmatic hernias and reflux at the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery in Malta.

Stefanou Xristos MD, MSc, PhDc is a Breast Surgeon specializing in the full spectrum of breast diseases, from prevention and diagnosis to the most advanced surgical procedures.

Particular emphasis is placed on detailed patient education and a personalized approach to each patient, aiming for the best possible therapeutic outcome and maintenance of quality of life.

He continuously follows advancements in the field of breast surgery by participating in conferences and educational seminars.

He holds two postgraduate degrees (University of Patras, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and is a PhD candidate at the University of Ioannina.

Ziozia Vasiliki is a General Surgeon, Senior Registrar of the 1st Surgical Clinic at IASO and maintains a private practice in Nea Irakleio. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master's degree in "Surgical Anatomy" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Panagiotakis Emmanouil MD, PhD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Marousi. Meropouli Antonia MD, PhDC is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Consultant Surgeon at Metropolitan Hospital, and a scientific associate at various other private hospitals. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras.
