Proctology Center Dr Anastasios Papadopoulos MD, PhD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Thessaloniki. Ioannis Alevizakis is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. Throughout his career, he has served for 10 consecutive years at the "Evangelismos" Hospital, initially specializing in Surgery and subsequently as a Consultant Surgeon. Since 2022, following a successful evaluation, he joined the Hellenic Coast Guard as a Medical Officer and currently serves as a Consultant Surgeon at the Athens Naval Hospital while also practicing as a Private Surgeon. Agalianos Xristos is a General Surgeon and operates a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Military Academy of Corps Officers (ΣΣΑΣ) in 2002 as a medical officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed his specialty in General Surgery in 2011 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Navy Hospital of Athens. Dr Liagkos Th Georgios MD, PhD is a General Surgeon - Proctologist, graduate of the Medical School of Patras, and has been awarded a PhD with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the Head of the 2nd Surgical Clinic for Anorectal Diseases at the Lumedica group and serves as a Scientific Collaborator Surgeon - Proctologist at Metropolitan Hospital in Neo Faliro and at Therapis in Athens. He also maintains private practices in Aigaleo and Lamia. He is a certified member of the American College of Surgeons (ATLS - ACS Committee on Trauma) and an active member of the Hellenic Surgical Society, the Hellenic Society of Endoscopic Surgery and Other Minimally Invasive Techniques, the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology, and the Hellenic Phlebology Society. He has specialized in Anorectal Surgery and Intestinal Surgery at the General State Hospital of Nikaia and has received further training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery for abdominal wall hernias. Additionally, he is certified in the use of modern laser fiber optics, radiofrequency (RF), and ultrasound (HAL) in the surgical management of anorectal diseases (pilonidal cyst, hemorrhoids, perianal fistula-abscess, anal fissure, condylomas). Annually, he lectures and participates with presentations at numerous postgraduate seminars and conferences abroad and in Greece, staying updated primarily on the latest advancements in proctology and minimally invasive surgery. Since 2017, he has served as a reviewer for the American surgical journal Trauma Cases and Reviews and in 2023 published the world’s first report with new data on the contemporary management of pilonidal cysts using laser with the new Infinate Ring fiber.

Mpalodimou Foteini is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Filothei. She was born in Kavala and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She then commenced her specialty training in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Drama and completed it at the Athens Cancer Oncology Hospital "Agios Savvas". During her specialty training and afterwards, she received awards in 1997, 1999, and 2000 as part of the Continuing Education Seminars of the Hellenic Surgical Society. Subsequently, for a period of six months, she specialized in Intensive Care at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko". With a scholarship from the Hellenic Surgical Society, in 2005 she specialized at the Institut Gustave Roussy Hospital in Paris in Surgical Oncology and Breast Surgery. She is a regular member of the Hellenic Cancer Society and the Hellenic Surgical Society. The surgeon practices privately in the healthcare sector and is involved in the following areas of General Surgery: Breast Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery (for which she has attended numerous seminars in Greece and abroad), and Surgical Oncology. In the field of Surgical Oncology, following her specialization at the Paris Cancer Center, she applies the technique of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemotherapy. She is a scientific collaborator with Hygeia and Mitera Hospitals and also cooperates with clinics such as Metropolitan, Lefkos Stavros, and the Athens Clinic.

Mr. Delimpaltadakis Giorgos is a General Surgeon who maintains his private practice in Heraklion. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Athens, a Doctorate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Master's degree in Health Services Management. He received further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and upper gastrointestinal surgery at Leeds General Infirmary and the Department of Surgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in the United Kingdom. From his extensive experience, we highlight his tenure as Director of the Surgical Clinic at Venizeleio Hospital and as Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at Sitia Hospital.

O Αθανάσιος Ξάκης γεννήθηκε στον Πολύγυρο Χαλκιδικής στις 22 Ιανουαρίου του 1994. Φοίτησε με αθλητική και ακολούθως μαθητική υποτροφία στο λύκειο των Εκπαιδευτηρίων Μαντουλίδη από όπου και τελικώς αποφοίτησε με άριστα το 2011. Κατά τη διάρκεια της μαθητικής του πορείας έλαβε αποδοχές και υποτροφίες για φοίτηση σε διακεκριμένα πανεπιστήμια των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών της Αμερικής και του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. 

Σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του υπήρξε μέλος του Εργαστηρίου Ανατομίας, υπεύθυνος για την εκπαίδευση και την ένταξη νέων φοιτητών ιατρικής καθώς επίσης συμμετείχε σε πληθώρα σεμιναρίων και παρουσιάσεων σε διεθνή συνέδρια. 

Μετά το πέρας των σπουδών του πραγματοποίησε Κλινική Άσκηση στη Χειρουργική στο Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada στην Yogyakarta της Ινδονησίας καθώς επίσης και Κλινική Άσκηση στην Αγγειοχειρουργική στο University Medical Centre Utrecht στην Ουτρέχτη της Ολλανδίας. 

Εργάστηκε ως ειδικευόμενος Χειρουργικής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Σερρών για 2 έτη και στη συνέχεια στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης Γ. Παπαγεωργίου για 4 έτη, από όπου και έλαβε τον τίτλο ειδικότητας. Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητας του συμμετείχε και σε πληθώρα χειρουργείων ως βοηθός χειρουργός του Τμήματος Χειρουργικής Ήπατος Χοληφόρων-Παγκρέατος της Κλινικής Άγιος Λουκάς, στο Πανόραμα Θεσσαλονίκης. 

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της ειδικότητας μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στη Χειρουργική Ήπατος, Χοληφόρων, Παγκρέατος & Μεταμοσχεύσεων Ήπατος στο Organ Transplantation Center, China Medical University Hospital στην Taichung της Ταϊβάν. 

Από τον Αύγουστο του 2025 εργάζεται ως Επιμελητής Χειρουργός στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης Γ. Παπανικολάου ενώ παράλληλα αποτελεί Συνεργάτη Χειρουργό της Κλινικής Άγιος Λουκάς. 

Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Θεσσαλονίκης (ΙΣΘ), της European Association for Endoscopic Surgery and other Interventional Techniques (EAES) και της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Τραύματος και Επείγουσας Χειρουργικής (ΕΕΤ&ΕΧ), ενώ υπήρξε και μέλος Οργανωτικών Επιτροπών μεγάλου αριθμού τοπικών και διεθνών Συνεδρίων και Ημερίδων. 

Είναι κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης στη Χειρουργική Ογκολογία του Πεπτικού Συστήματος του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης και υποψήφιος κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης στον Καρκίνο του Παγκρέατος του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας.

Έχει παρακολουθήσει πληθώρα σεμιναρίων και συνεδρίων τόσο διεθνών όσο και του εξωτερικού, έχει παρουσιάσει ως ομιλητής σημαντικό αριθμό προφορικών ανακοινώσεων με αντίστοιχες τιμητικές διακρίσεις και βραβεία ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει και στη δημοσίευση επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διακεκριμένα περιοδικά του εξωτερικού.

Spentzouris Nikolaos is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Kallithea. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has served as the Scientific Head of the Surgical Department at the Medical Center of Paleo Faliro for several years. He has specialized in laparoscopic surgery, having performed a large number of laparoscopic procedures of varying complexity. Additionally, he has extensive experience in surgical oncology, having conducted and participated in numerous major oncological surgeries, starting from his tenure at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippokration," where he completed his specialty training, as well as at the Surgical Oncology Clinic of the Medical Center of Paleo Faliro and Psychiko, where he served as a general surgeon. Finally, he has participated in numerous national and international conferences in Greece and abroad and is a member of the Piraeus Medical Association and a regular member of the Hellenic Surgical Society.

Dr. Anastasios Aggelou MD, PhD, MSc. is a General Surgeon specialized in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery, minimally invasive techniques, as well as Emergency Surgery. He holds a doctoral degree with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has received further training at leading international centers, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Ohio State. He maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi and performs surgeries at private hospitals in Athens.

Vitsas Apostolos MD is a General Surgeon, Director of the "Cosmoclinic" Clinic in Piraeus, and maintains a private practice in Kallithea. He has specialized in general surgery at the 2nd Surgical Clinic of the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio," as well as at the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the same hospital, while also specializing in Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Η επιστημονική της κατάρτιση ενισχύθηκε περαιτέρω με εξειδίκευση στην ελάχιστα επεμβατική και λαπαροσκοπική χειρουργική στο Kantonnspital Winterthur της Ελβετίας, ένα από τα σημαντικά κέντρα αναφοράς στον τομέα αυτό. Σήμερα κατέχει θέση Επιμελήτριας Χειρουργικής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Γουμένισσας - Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Κιλκίς, όπου ασχολείται με το ευρύ φάσμα της γενικής χειρουργικής, με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον στις ελάχιστα επεμβατικές τεχνικές και τη χειρουργική του πεπτικού συστήματος.

Παράλληλα, συμμετέχει ενεργά στην επιστημονική κοινότητα, αποτελώντας μέλος σημαντικών ελληνικών και ευρωπαϊκών επιστημονικών εταιρειών, όπως η European Hernia Society, η European Society of Coloproctology, η European Association for Endoscopic Surgery and other Interventional Techniques, η Ελληνική Εταιρεία Κολοπρωκτολογίας και η Ελληνική Εταιρεία Χειρουργικής Παχέος Εντέρου - Πρωκτού. Μέσα από τη διαρκή επιστημονική δραστηριότητα και εκπαίδευση, παρακολουθεί τις εξελίξεις της σύγχρονης χειρουργικής, με στόχο την παροχή υψηλού επιπέδου και εξατομικευμένης φροντίδας στους ασθενείς της.

Alivizatos Vasileios MD, PhD is a general surgeon, Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and former Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at the General Hospital of Patras "Saint Andrew," where he served for a total of 36 years as a specialized surgeon. During his career, he received advanced training in liver-biliary-pancreatic surgery in Bern, Switzerland; new hernia repair techniques in Mechelen, Belgium; and Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral, Enteral) in Manchester, United Kingdom. He has attended numerous advanced training seminars in the USA and has participated in 139 medical conferences (74 in Greece, 65 abroad, mainly Europe, USA, Asia), presenting scientific clinical studies as well as delivering lectures and talks upon invitation by medical societies. Furthermore, he has 124 publications of clinical studies in Greek and international medical journals and books, with 4 of his published studies in international medical journals cited 119 times in studies by foreign authors (citation index). He has extensive experience in surgical procedures of minor and moderate severity (hernias, pilonidal cyst, lipomas, biliary diseases, anal conditions, etc.), as well as major surgeries (benign and malignant diseases of the stomach, small and large intestine, kidney, uterus, ovaries) and benign and malignant diseases of the pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors, pancreaticoduodenectomies Whipple). Currently, he practices in the private sector, covering the full spectrum of general surgery as well as Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral and Enteral, gastrostomies, enterostomies) for patients with chronic conditions who are unable to be fed orally.
