Agalianos Xristos is a General Surgeon and operates a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Military Academy of Corps Officers (ΣΣΑΣ) in 2002 as a medical officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed his specialty in General Surgery in 2011 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Navy Hospital of Athens. Delikoukos Stylianos MD, PhD is a General Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in Larissa since 2007, with a branch office established in Agia since 2016. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. The incision made is small and analgesics are not required during the usually one-day hospitalization. In this case, the patient will need to abstain from work for 1 to 2 days.
