Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνος για την Ελλάδα σε περισσότερες από 10 διεθνείς πολυκεντρικές μελέτες με τις αντίστοιχες δημοσιεύσεις σε περιοδικά μεγάλου κύρους όπως τα Lancet, Anaesthesia και British Journal of Surgery. Είναι κριτής σε 11 περιοδικά χειρουργικής και μέλος του εκδοτικού συμβουλίου στα Nature Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Surgery και Colorectal Disease. Έχει συγγράψει πάνω από 120 άρθρα-δημοσιεύσεις σε ξενόγλωσσα περιοδικά με περισσότερες από 2500 αναφορές. Επίσης έχει συμμετάσχει ως ομιλητής σε περισσότερα από 20 Ελληνικά και Διεθνή Συνέδρια και έχει γράψει 2 κεφάλαια συγγραμμάτων χειρουργικής.

Ntourakis Dimitrios MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice in Paleo Faliro. He is a Professor of Surgery at the European University of Cyprus and the Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic at Iatriko Paleo Faliro. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the same institution’s Medical School. Ms. Kitsou Xristina is a Vascular Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon and maintains her practice in Kolonaki. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specializes in Venous Surgery and Endocrine Surgery. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. The incision made is small and analgesics are not required during the usually one-day hospitalization. In this case, the patient will need to abstain from work for 1 to 2 days.

Ο Φιστόπουλος Ιωάννης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Παλαιό Φάληρο. Το 1988 γίνεται δεκτός μετά από εξετάσεις στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Cluz-Napoca στην Ρουμανία (U.M.F.
