Dr. Napoleon Xirokostas is a board-certified General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Laparoscopic, Robotic, and Oncologic Surgery. He maintains a private medical office in Rafina, Greece, and also serves as a Consultant Surgeon at the 1st Surgical Department of IASO General Hospital in Athens.

He completed his residency in General Surgery at Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens, the largest tertiary care and trauma center in Greece, where he also held the position of Chief Resident. Over the course of his training, he participated in more than 1,000 surgical procedures, including a wide spectrum of emergency, oncologic, and minimally invasive surgeries.

Dr. Xirokostas holds a Medical Degree (MD) from the Democritus University of Thrace and a Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He completed his mandatory rural medical service at the General Hospital of Kyparissia and previously served in the Greek Army as a General Medicine Doctor, providing medical assessments and basic life support instruction.

He has received extensive training in trauma surgery (DSTC), laparoscopic and robotic techniques, microsurgery, and emergency abdominal procedures. He is certified in ATLS, ALS, and has participated in numerous specialized surgical workshops and cadaveric dissection courses across Europe.

Dr. Xirokostas has an active academic presence, with several peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international surgical congresses.

Dr. Ioannis Virlos is a General Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Glyfada. He graduated from the Medical School of Alexandroupolis, Democritus University of Thrace, obtaining his medical degree in 1990. In 2000, he earned a Master’s degree in Surgical Sciences (MSc in Surgical Sciences) as well as a Diploma from Imperial College London (Diploma Imperial College), United Kingdom. In 2009, he was awarded a Doctorate (Medical Doctorate) from the University of Manchester, UK.He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd.) since 1998 and of the Intercollegiate Board in Surgery of the United Kingdom (FRCS (Gen Surg)) since 2008. He has received training not only in Greece but also in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Belgium.After completing his military service in 1992, he trained in General Surgery in hospitals in Athens and the United Kingdom between 1992 and 1999, obtaining his specialty title in General Surgery in 1999. From 2002 to 2012, he served as a surgical consultant in hospitals in the UK, Australia, Belgium, and Greece. Specifically, he worked at the following hospitals in the UK: North Middlesex, Arrowe Park, Derriford, Torbay, Exeter, Cheltenham, and North Bristol, as well as at Sir Charles Gairdner University Hospital in Perth, Australia, and Sotiria Hospital in Athens (as Senior Consultant).During the same period, he received advanced training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery and laparoscopic bariatric surgery at Singleton Hospital in Swansea, UK, and Heilighart Ziekenhuis in Roeselare, Belgium.From 2012 to 2021, he worked as a Consultant Surgeon at the following hospitals in the UK: Ealing Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, John Radcliffe & Churchill Hospitals in Oxford, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Northampton General Hospital, and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. He returned to Greece in 2021.Since 2023, Mr. Virlos has been the Director of Surgery at Metropolitan General Hospital in Athens. He also serves as the General Secretary of the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology. Finally, for the period 2025–2028, he will represent Greece at the European Society of Coloproctology.

Voulgaris Sotiris is a General Surgeon with a private practice located in Ilisia. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and holds a postgraduate diploma in Minor Pelvic and Perineal Surgery from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Vitsas Apostolos MD is a General Surgeon, Director of the "Cosmoclinic" Clinic in Piraeus, and maintains a private practice in Kallithea. Tzatzarakis Emmanouil is a General Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon, PhD holder from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. In 2008, he was admitted to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated in 2014 with an excellent degree (8.8). After graduation, he moved to Germany, where he began his training in the specialty of General Surgery at the University Clinic of Mannheim, completing it in 2021. In June 2025, he relocated to his wife’s hometown, Kalamata, together with her and their two children, beginning his professional activity in Greece.

Mr. Delimpaltadakis Giorgos is a General Surgeon who maintains his private practice in Heraklion. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Athens, a Doctorate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Master's degree in Health Services Management. He received further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and upper gastrointestinal surgery at Leeds General Infirmary and the Department of Surgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in the United Kingdom. Ziozia Vasiliki is a General Surgeon, Senior Registrar of the 1st Surgical Clinic at IASO and maintains a private practice in Nea Irakleio. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master's degree in "Surgical Anatomy" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Kazamias Mixalis is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Piraeus. He studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School and specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas." He has served as Chief Resident and subsequently as Director of the Surgical Clinic at the Regional General Hospital of Syros. He possesses extensive and notable clinical experience. He holds a Diploma of License (MD) from the Medical School of "Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie GR T POPA" and has obtained medical practice licenses in Greece, Sweden, Spain, and Romania. During his General Surgery specialization, he completed advanced training in the Vascular Surgery Department at Konstantopouleio General Hospital and in the Plastic Surgery Department at the Oncology Hospital of Ag. Anargyroi. At Konstantopouleio General Hospital, he served as the primary surgeon or first surgical assistant in a wide range of laparoscopic and open surgical procedures. He has worked in the Emergency Department and was responsible for postoperative monitoring and treatment of patients with liver and pancreatic cancer. He manages numerous cases by leveraging his scientific expertise and extensive experience, always focusing on providing the best possible care tailored to the individual needs of each patient he treats.
