Dimitris Gkiouzelis, MD, PhD, is a General Surgeon and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Athens. Ms. Kitsou Xristina is a Vascular Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon and maintains her practice in Kolonaki. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specializes in Venous Surgery and Endocrine Surgery. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. The incision made is small and analgesics are not required during the usually one-day hospitalization. In this case, the patient will need to abstain from work for 1 to 2 days.

Dontas Ioannis is a Surgeon - Proctologist and Director of the Laser Surgery clinic in Ampelokipoi. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Simultaneously, he attended the Military School of Officers Corps (SSAS) and graduated from the Medical Department of the Military Medical School. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He specialized in General Surgery at major hospitals in Athens, such as the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and the Naval Hospital of Athens, obtaining his General Surgery specialty title after examinations. Dr. Lazaros Lazarou is a General Surgeon, certified in surgical oncology of the colon and rectum, pancreas, stomach, liver, and thyroid gland, as well as in proctology, with specialized expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures. He maintains a private medical practice in Volos, Greece. He studied and specialized in Germany, where he pursued a career in Surgery. He completed his residency at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery of the University Hospital of Ulm, where in 2007 he obtained his Board Certification in General Surgery and was appointed Consultant Surgeon, while in 2010 he acquired the qualification in Advanced Visceral Surgery. In 2013, he was promoted to Deputy Director, and in 2015 to Associate Director of Surgery, with parallel responsibilities for the development of the 14 Centers of Excellence of the surgical department, including all oncological centers, as well as centers for inflammatory bowel disease, thyroid and parathyroid glands, hernia, and sarcoma. In 2017, he assumed the position of Director of General, Visceral, Thoracic and Transplant Surgery at the Stuttgart Hospital, which is a certified Oncology Cancer Center of the German Cancer Society (DKG) and a Transplant Center with 23 Centers of Excellence. At the same hospital, he also served as Scientific Coordinator and Medical Director, with responsibilities including: coordination of the Visceral Oncology Center (esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, colon and rectum, endocrine glands, peritoneal and other metastases, sarcoma), director of the Oncological–Visceral Tumor Board, delegate for the education of medical students at the Center for Surgical Medicine, transfusion officer of the department, coordinator of the research programs of the Visceral Oncology Center, officer responsible for quality assurance of the Department of General, Visceral, Thoracic and Transplant Surgery, as well as member of the committee of the German Cancer Society responsible for the certification of Centers of Excellence in Visceral and Oncological Medicine. Mr. Lazaros Lazarou returned to Greece with his family, aiming to offer his extensive surgical experience and scientific expertise acquired at leading German and European certified centers where he worked. His commitment focuses on personalized treatment based on Greek and international protocols, access to minimally invasive surgery, optimal surgical outcomes, absolute transparency and trust, as well as continuous education and innovation. Maria Mixailidou MD, FACS, FASCRS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice within the HYGEIA Hospital in Marousi. She studied at the Medical School of the University of Patras and continued her medical training in the USA. There, she conducted clinical research in the Department of Emergency Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, under Harvard University, and specialized in General Surgery at the University of Arizona. Additionally, she specialized in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Penn State University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Ioannis Koutelidakis is a General Surgeon and maintains his private practice in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and fulfilled his rural service in his birthplace, Rethymno, Crete. He began his specialty training in General Surgery at the Air Force Hospital and completed it in April 2004 at the 2nd Surgical Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, after which he was awarded the title of General Surgeon following examinations. The physician has been awarded a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also gained training in cervical lymph node dissection for thyroid cancer cases. Simultaneously, he trained in cervical and thyroid ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid with ultrasound guidance. Upon his appointment as Lecturer, the physician actively participates in the clinical training of Medical School students in Surgery and the education of General Surgery residents, and he has contributed to Greek and international publications in Greek and international medical journals.

Xorti Aggeliki is a General Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Ano Toumba, Thessaloniki.
