Έχει επίσης εργαστεί στο Εργαστήριο Χειρουργικής Έρευνας του Yale University στις ΗΠΑ, όπου πραγματοποίησε μέρος των σπουδών της.Τα επιστημονικά της ενδιαφέροντα καλύπτονται σε πολλές δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά και παρουσιάσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια. Georgios Bpagias is a General Surgeon, PhD holder from the Medical School of Athens. He completed his medical studies at the Medical School of Athens with "Excellent" marks and undertook his specialty training in Greece and Germany (university clinics of general surgery and transplantation in Hannover and Essen). Delikoukos Stylianos MD, PhD is a General Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in Larissa since 2007, with a branch office established in Agia since 2016. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his military service as a Reserve Lieutenant Medical Officer and fulfilled his Rural Service obligations. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. The incision made is small and analgesics are not required during the usually one-day hospitalization. In this case, the patient will need to abstain from work for 1 to 2 days.
