Andrikopoulos Spyros is a General Surgeon and the Director of the Surgical Clinic at the White Cross of Athens. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and received training at the Piraeus Cancer Hospital "Metaxa," the Nikaia State Hospital, and the Athens General Hospital "Evangelismos." After completing his specialty, he pursued further training in the United Kingdom at Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust, St. James University Hospital, and the “John Goligher” Colorectal Unit, General Infirmary. A significant part of his advanced training in the UK focused on laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the colon and rectum, as well as the management of proctological diseases and pelvic floor disorders. Additionally, he holds certification for the use of the Da Vinci® robotic system (Da Vinci® Surgical System Training Program) from IRCAD / EITS, University of Strasbourg, France. To date, he collaborates with numerous private healthcare facilities in Athens, including the Hygeia Hospital, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic "Iaso," Metropolitan General Hospital, the Gynecological, Obstetric, and Surgical Center "Leto," and the "Mitera" Hospital. Finally, Dr. Andrikopoulos is a member of numerous Greek and European scientific societies and associations.
