Kokkotou Ioanna MD

Kokkotou Ioanna is an Endocrinologist-Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Peristeri. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. 

During her specialty training, she specialized in pathology at the Naval Hospital of Athens. Subsequently, she specialized in endocrinology at the Endocrinology-Diabetes-Metabolism and Metabolic Bone Diseases Unit of the 2nd Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the University of Athens at “Attikon” Hospital. She managed a wide range of cases across the spectrum of Endocrinology and gained experience in Endocrine diseases and Gestational Diabetes in collaboration with the 3rd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

During her specialty, she trained in diabetes mellitus at the Diabetes Center of the 2nd Internal Medicine Clinic of the University of Athens (D.C.), operating at the Hippokration General Hospital of Athens.

She trained in Gynecological and Male Endocrinology diseases at the Reproductive Endocrinology Department of the University Hospital of Patras.

She also specialized in the Growth and Development Department at the “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” General Children’s Hospital. 

She has participated in national conferences and online seminars with multiple presentations and oral communications in the field of Endocrinology. 

She is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Endocrine Society, the Hellenic Menopause and Climacteric Society, and the European Endocrine Society.
