Maurommati Argyro BSc

Maurommati Argyro is a Mental Health Counselor. She graduated in 2014 from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology with a specialization in Psychology at the University of Ioannina. She is currently a final-year Psychology student at the University of Central Lancashire (ICPS College). Due to her passion for mental health, she specialized in the use of psychometric tools, while also gaining specialization in therapeutic interventions in Special Education. Her passion for counseling led her to study at a private center in mental health counseling and to participate in multiple training seminars, where she was trained in all counseling approaches for the application of techniques in the counseling process. She has been involved in and trained in mindfulness and relaxation techniques, couples therapy, and schema therapy through Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. Throughout these years, she has continued her personal development through individual psychotherapy and self-awareness groups, while practicing mental health counseling under supervision. (Mental health counseling for managing mild forms of anxiety, phobias, etc., with referrals to collaborating psychiatrists or psychologists/psychotherapists when cases are beyond management through the counseling process).
