He holds a Doctorate with honors from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a diploma holder of the European Board of Urology. He trained in Surgical Urology at the University Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Sismanogleio" and subsequently, with a fellowship from the European Association of Urology, received further training in Andrology and Reconstructive Urological Surgery at University College Hospital, London. Additionally, he completed advanced training in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in a salaried position (Senior Clinical Fellow) at Lister Hospital (Robotic Centre of Hertfordshire). His research work includes 20 publications in recognized international peer-reviewed journals and Greek periodicals, as well as 31 scientific presentations at international and national conferences. He also serves as a consultant to the editorial boards of both international and Greek urology journals. Komninos Xristos MD, MSc, PhD, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist, Director of the Department of Reconstructive and Advanced Urological Surgery at the Athens Medical Center, and holds a PhD in Urology from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He has specialized in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, endourology, and the management of urological oncological diseases at Severance Hospitals in Seoul and the Cleveland Clinic in the USA. At the clinic, in a modern and fully equipped facility, a range of medical services are provided, including transrectal ultrasound, fertility assessment, prostate examination, cystoscopy, circumcision, ultrasound of the kidneys, bladder, and prostate, as well as scrotal and penile triplex ultrasound, respectively.
