Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική σχολή του Εθνικού & Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστήμιου Αθηνών. Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα του στη Β’ Πανεπιστημιακή Ουρολογική Κλινική του Σισμανόγλειου Νοσοκομείου. Κατά το διάστημα της εκπαίδευσής του, εργάστηκε για τέσσερις μήνες ως Fellow στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Homburg-Saarland, ένα από τα πρότυπα Ρομποτικά Κέντρα αντιμετώπισης του Καρκίνου του προστάτη στη Γερμανία. Έπειτα, εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής Ουρολογίας στην Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου του Galway πρότυπο Κέντρο Ουρολογίας στη Δυτική ακτή της Ιρλανδίας, με εξειδίκευση στη Ρομποτική Χειρουργική, τη Λαπαροσκοπική Χειρουργική, την Ενδοουρολογία, τη Λιθίαση και την Επανορθωτική Ουρολογία. Εκεί υπήρξε εκπαιδευτής των φοιτητών Ιατρικής του πέμπτου έτους καθώς και των ειδικευομένων και αντιμετώπισε πληθώρα ουρολογικών περιστατικών. Ακόμη, υπήρξε βασικό μέλος του Ιρλανδικού προγράμματος RAPC (Rapid access prostate clinic - Πρόγραμμα παρακολούθησης Καρκίνου του Προστάτη) στο ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο. Εξειδικεύτηκε και πιστοποιήθηκε στη Ρομποτική Χειρουργική (Fellowship in Robotic Surgery) ανωτέρου και κατωτέρου Ουροποιητικού στο Galway Clinic, στο επίσημο πρόγραμμα του erus-ORSI Academy. Επίσης, εκπαιδεύτηκε σε πολλαπλά ρομποτικά συστήματα της Da VINCI και είναι ένας από τους πρώτους που δοκίμασε το HUGO Ρομποτικό σύστημα. Παράλληλα εξειδικεύτηκε και πιστοποιήθηκε στη θεραπεία της καλοήθους υπερπλασίας του προστάτη με τη μέθοδο Rezum και Greenlight Prostate Laser της Boston Scientific. Διαθέτει πολυετή κλινική εμπειρία έχοντας πραγματοποιήσει και συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερες από 800 ρομποτικές και λαπαροσκοπικές επεμβάσεις και είναι ένας από τους ελάχιστους πιστοποιημένους Ουρολόγους Ρομποτικούς Χειρουργούς στην Ελλάδα και στην Ευρώπη. Τέλος, ασχολείται η σύγχρονη και όσο το δυνατόν ελάχιστα επεμβατική χειρουργική παρέμβαση, με την αντιμετώπιση όλου του φάσματος των ουρολογικών και γεννητικών παθήσεων και των δυο φύλων, με τα βέλτιστα αποτελέσματα με στόχο την ίαση, τη μείωση του χειρουργικού χρόνου, του μετεγχειρητικού πόνου αλλά και την ταχύτερη δυνατή επαναφορά του ασθενούς στην καθημερινότητα του.
