Dr Koukos Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. He is a former Director of specialized sports injuries at St. Josef Hospital in Wuppertal, Germany. He completed his specialization and sub-specialization entirely in Germany. Santas Rigas MD, MSc, FASM is an Orthopedic Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in the center of Thessaloniki since 2012. He graduated from the 2nd High School of Thessaloniki and completed his medical studies abroad, obtaining his specialty title with distinction in 2012 at hospital institutions both domestically and internationally. Subsequently, he specialized in trauma surgery at trauma centers abroad in Davos, Switzerland; Strasbourg, France; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He completed an arthroscopic fellowship under the auspices of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) in shoulder and knee. He is a certified surgeon in adult reconstructive surgery (total arthroplasties) using minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. To date, he collaborates with the private clinics "Agios Loukas" and Bioclinic Thessaloniki, having performed numerous emergency and elective surgical procedures, and has clinically examined thousands of patients in outpatient clinics, both privately insured and uninsured. He possesses extensive experience in adult reconstructive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and orthopedic traumatology, providing specialized services with minimally invasive techniques and biological therapies, following the most advanced contemporary orthopedic methods. Dr. Sarantis Mixalis, MD, MSc, PhDc, is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a private practice in Psychiko. Concurrently, he serves as an Orthopedic Consultant specializing in Sports Injuries at Metropolitan Hospital. He has extensive experience, having completed his specialization at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" and the 4th Orthopedic Clinic of G.N.A. KAT, while also specializing at the same hospital in the Hand-Upper Limb-Microsurgery Clinic, the Sports Injuries Department, and the Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic. In 2018, he successfully completed advanced training in pediatric orthopedic trauma and pediatric skeletal deformities at the Orthopedic Hospital Speising (Vienna, Austria). Since 2019, he holds a Master's degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases - Osteoporosis" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2020, he was appointed as a doctoral candidate by the Medical School of Athens, and since then he has been pursuing his doctoral thesis at the 2nd Orthopedic University Clinic of the University of Athens (Konstantopouleio Hospital – Agia Olga). Gatos Giorgos, MD, MSc, is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist with expertise in Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder and Knee Surgery, Sports Injuries, Reconstructive Surgery, and modern combined Biological therapies. He maintains a private practice in Gerakas and simultaneously serves as Deputy Director of the 3rd Orthopedic Clinic at Hygeia-Mitera Hospital, as well as a Scientific Collaborator at the Psychiko Medical Center.
