He holds the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma and has been awarded for his scientific work at international conferences. Dr. Mendrinos has participated in international studies (Excite, Mont Blanc, Cabernet, VIEW2) that established the modern management of age-related macular degeneration. Furthermore, he possesses specialized modern equipment for conducting home ophthalmologic examinations and specialized tests throughout the Attica region. He is a founding member of the Hellenic Society of Ocular Surface and Dry Eye.
