Spanos Michalis is a surgical ophthalmologist. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and actively participated in two doctoral dissertations at the Medical School of the same institution, contributing to the academic and scientific advancement of the field.
He completed his specialty in Surgical Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Nikaia - Piraeus, and subsequently specialized further in anterior segment surgery, acquiring specialized knowledge and skills in advanced ophthalmic surgical techniques.
Prior to his involvement in ophthalmology, he obtained a specialty in Surgical Pathology at Hippocrates Hospital, which provided him with an expanded clinical and diagnostic approach to medical practice.
During his career, he also worked at the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas" and at the University General Hospital "Attikon," gaining valuable experience in modern and demanding hospital environments.
Currently, he maintains his private practice in Voula, offering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for ophthalmological conditions. Simultaneously, he is a collaborator at the ophthalmic surgical institute EYE DAY CLINIC, participating in specialized surgeries and multidisciplinary therapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on patient quality and safety.
