Είναι απόφοιτη του Τμήματος Επιστήμης Διαιτολογίας - Διατροφής του Χαροκοπείου Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης στην Κλινική Διατροφή από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Η μεταπτυχιακή της έρευνα αφορούσε την επίδραση των τροφίμων με προβιοτικά στα λιπίδια του αίματος σε άτομα με υπέρβαρο και παχυσαρκία. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών της, πραγματοποίησε την κλινική της πρακτική άσκηση στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βόλου «Αχιλλοπούλειο», όπου απέκτησε σημαντική εμπειρία στην αξιολόγηση της θρεπτικής κατάστασης και στη διατροφική υποστήριξη ασθενών.
