Επιπλέον, ολοκλήρωσε επιτυχώς  το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών "Παθολογία της Κύησης" της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και πρόσφατα αποφοίτησε με βαθμό ''ΑΡΙΣΤΑ'' από το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών στην  "Αναγεννητική - Αναπαραγωγική Ιατρική’" στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Υπηρέτησε ως αγροτικός γιατρός στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Ζακύνθου και εν συνεχεία ξεκίνησε την ειδίκευσή του στη Χειρουργική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Κεφαλονιάς. Μετέπειτα συνέχισε την ειδικότητά του στην Α΄ Πανεπιστημιακή Μαιευτική - Γυναικολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών "Αλεξάνδρα", όπου ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του. Μετέπειτα, εργάστηκε ως Μαιευτήρας - Γυναικολόγος στο τελευταίο Νοσοκομείο, στα Τμήματα Γυναικολογικού Υπερήχου, Παθολογίας Τραχήλου και Κολποσκόπησης, καθώς και σε Γυναικολογικό Τμήμα Αντιμετώπισης Καλοηθών Παθήσεων. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πληθώρα επιστημονικών συνεδρίων και σεμιναρίων, ενώ υπάρχουν δημοσιευμένα του άρθρα σε ελληνικά και ξένα ιατρικά περιοδικά. Ilias Ginopoulos is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist who maintains a private practice in Peristeri.
