Pediatricians with experience in Breastfeeding

Η Στάμου Σταυρούλα γεννήθηκε, μεγάλωσε και σπούδασε στην Αθήνα. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών μετέβη στην Γερμανία, όπου κι ειδικεύτηκε στην παιδιατρική. Δούλεψε ως ειδικευόμενη στις παιδιατρικές κλινικές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών νοσοκομείων σε διαφορετικές πόλεις του κρατιδίου της Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας (Universitätsklinikum Essen, Helios Klinikum Wuppertal, AMEOS Klinik Oberhausen Sterkrade, Helios Klinikum Duisburg) αποκτώντας γνώση και εμπειρία σε όλους τους τομείς της παιδιατρικής και κυρίως στη νεογνολογία και τη διενέργεια υπερήχων. Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε σε μεγάλο παιδιατρείο στο Düsseldorf αποκτώντας έτσι εμπειρία στις διαφορετικές απαιτήσεις της εργασίας του ιατρού της κοινότητας. Στην διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής της πορείας έλαβε μέρος σε πολλά μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια (επείγουσα παιδιατρική, διενέργεια υπερήχων, αξιολόγηση ηλεκτροεγκεφαλογραφημάτων, διασωλήνωση και αερισμός παιδιών και νεογνών, μητρικός θηλασμός, ιατρική διατροφής παιδιών και νεογνών) αλλά και συνέδρια παιδιατρικής κι εφηβιατρικής. Έχει υπάρξει υπεύθυνη προσαρμογής ειδικευομένων στην κλινική κι εκπρόσωπός τους. Έχει διεξάγει μαθήματα για τους εκπαιδευόμενους νοσηλευτές και παρουσιάσεις για τους παιδιάτρους. Το φθινόπωρο του 2021 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα. Διατηρεί ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι Αττικής κι είναι συνεργάτης της παιδιατρικής κλινικής του νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και συνεργάτης των πολυϊατρείων Medifirst. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνη παιδίατρος των βρεφονηπιακών σταθμών στο Ζωγράφου. Είναι παντρεμένη και μητέρα δύο παιδιών. Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών όπως και του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Βόρειας Ρηνανίας και Βηστφαλίας (Ärztekammer Nordrhein). Είναι μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Παιδιατρικής και Εφηβικής Ιατρικής (DGKJ), της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Νεογνολογίας και Παιδιατρικής Εντατικής Θεραπείας (GNPI) και της Επαγγελματικής Ένωσης Παιδιάτρων και Εφήβων Γερμανίας (BVKJ). Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Συλλόγου Ιδιωτών Ιατρών Βόρειας Ρηνανίας (KV Nordrhein).

Georgiou Kleanthi is a Pediatrician - Neonatologist with a private practice in Aigaleo. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds Advanced Paediatric Life Support and Neonatal Life Support certifications. She specialized in Neonatology at the 2nd Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," and she continues to serve as a Consultant in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at IASO Hospital. She has extensive experience in pediatric intensive care and breastfeeding support. She completed her specialization at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Penteli and the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Volos. Additionally, she has worked as a Laboratory Results Physician at Biomedical Ambelokipi and at the General Clinic of Western Attica "Vougiouklakeio" in Aigaleo. Furthermore, she has served as a Physician - Coordinator at the Athens Polyclinic "Doctors Without Borders" and is a member of the Athens Medical Association.

Iordanidou Katerina is a Pediatrician in Thessaloniki. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly and obtained her Pediatric specialization title in September 2019 following examinations. She began her specialty in the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Kavala and subsequently moved to the United Kingdom. She initially trained in the Neonatal Unit at Barnet Hospital in London and later at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, where she acquired extensive experience in general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and the emergency department. She received further training in pediatric endocrinology at the Royal London Hospital, working as a Senior Endocrine Fellow. She also worked as a Senior Registrar at Barnet Hospital and Royal Free Hospital, covering the Pediatric Department and the Neonatal Unit. Since 2013, she has been a certified ERC instructor in Neonatal Life Support (NLS Instructor). Since January 2023, she has maintained a private practice with modern equipment in the center of Thessaloniki, in a space designed to meet the needs of both children and mothers, including a breastfeeding area. With responsibility and scientific expertise, she undertakes the care of children from the neonatal period through adolescence.

Zaxarou Vera - Nutrithink is a Dietitian - Nutritionist and operates a private practice in Piraeus. She completed her studies in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. Additionally, she attended a Health Coach training seminar and subsequently a professional development program in Pediatric Nutrition at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has experience and contributes articles to various websites.

Panagiotopoulou Tzortzina MSc, IBCLC is a Pediatrician - Certified Breastfeeding Consultant IBCLC and maintains a private practice in Cholargos. She graduated in 2006 from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (N.K.U.A.) and continued her postgraduate training at the same university, specializing in clinical Pediatrics and Nursing Research, which she completed in 2017. In the same year, she obtained the Pediatric specialty title after specializing at the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the Children's Hospital of Athens "Agia Sofia". Subsequently, she received two certifications in pediatric nutrition through distance learning at Ludwig-Maximilians University (Germany) and Boston University (USA). Since 2021, after successful examinations approved by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies of the USA (NCCA), she has received the Global IBCLC Certification as a Breastfeeding Consultant, whereby, with her knowledge and experience in breastfeeding-related issues (e.g., breastfeeding difficulties, prematurity, multiple pregnancies), she actively supports mothers in this purpose. Regarding her professional experience, the doctor has worked for 5 years at the Alexandra Health Center as a Registrar B, with experience in managing emergency pediatric cases as well as Covid-19 morbidity cases in children. Additionally, she has worked at the Global Brigades Polyclinic, providing primary healthcare services to socially vulnerable groups. Zappi Marianna MSc is a Dietitian - Nutritionist who maintains a private practice in Patras. She holds a postgraduate diploma specializing in the Applications of Basic Medical Sciences from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and is a graduate of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition Science at Harokopio University of Athens. She is specialized in clinical dietetics and provides specialized nutrition programs tailored to individual needs at her private practice.

Xantzaridis Petros is a Military Dietitian - Nutritionist, founder and Director of the Clinical Diet dietetic office in Agia Paraskevi. He was admitted to the Veterinary Medicine Department of the Military School of Officers Corps (SSAS) in Thessaloniki and was commissioned as an Officer of the Hellenic Army in 1996, having been honored with scholarships and commendations from the State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.). In 2000, he was admitted to the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics of the School of Food Technology & Nutrition at ATEI Thessaloniki and graduated in 2003, again receiving scholarships from I.K.Y. In 2009, he was selected by the Health Directorate of the General Staff of the Army as a recipient of an honorary educational scholarship in the field of Dietetics. The prestigious New York University in the United States selected him among numerous candidates from around the world and accepted him into the Graduate Program of Clinical Nutrition, from which he graduated in 2010 with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition, receiving favorable reviews from leading international Nutrition professors. Since 2005, he has served for several years as Director of the Dietetic Department of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. His daily management of clinical cases at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens, his extensive experience, and the breadth of his studies allow him to have a comprehensive understanding of the food chain, nutritional risks, and their proper management both preventively and in clinical settings. Finally, upon requests from Harokopio University of Athens and the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, he has undertaken the training of many final-year students as part of their practical training.

Dimitriou Katerina is a Pediatrician specializing in neonatology with many years of experience in major hospitals, while maintaining a private practice in Spata. For the past 15 years, she has been a Consultant in the Neonatal Premature Unit at Iaso Maternity Hospital. She advocates for preventive medicine and, beyond growth monitoring and vaccination, she is particularly interested in children's nutrition, considering it very important for health and the prevention of degenerative diseases. She has always sought ways and advice to improve the quality of life and health of children, recognizing that healthy physical development is multifactorial (good nutrition, exercise, quality sleep, absence of stress, healthy relationships with family and peers). Finally, the doctor possesses the appropriate knowledge base and the patience required to manage health issues in neonates, children, and adolescents.

Kanellou Paraskeui is a Dietitian - Nutritionist and operates a private practice in Peristeri. She graduated from the Department of Dietetics - Nutrition at Harokopio University of Athens and holds a postgraduate degree from the Nursing Department, specializing in Public Health at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate degree in "Clinical Ergospirrometry, Exercise, and Rehabilitation" from the Medical School of the same university. She possesses extensive professional experience and has participated in numerous conferences and seminars. Finally, Ms. Kanellou is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians - Nutritionists and the Union of Dietitians - Nutritionists of Greece.

Η Κογκόλη Μαρία με επιχειρηματική δραστηριότητα για χρόνια στο κέντρο αδυνατίσματος DNA αποφάσισε να δώσει σε ώριμη ηλικία κατατακτήριες και να εισαχθεί στο Χαροκόπειο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Ξανά στα θρανία με ώριμη σκέψη, φρέσκια γνώση και πλούσια γευστική κουλτούρα από τα ταξίδια της ανά τον κόσμο.

Αναλαμβάνει περιστατικά με χρόνια νοσήματα (διαβήτης, μεταβολικά νοσήματα, ογκολογικά, νεφρολογικά, παθήσεις πεπτικού Συστήματος (πχ. Σύνδρομο Ευερέθιστου Εντέρου), διαχείριση βάρους , δυσθρεψίας τρίτης ηλικίας. Επίσης έγκυες, θηλάζουσες και αθλητές.

Προσεγγίζει την ευζωία μέσω του σχεδιασμού διατροφικών προγραμμάτων προσαρμοσμένα στις ανάγκες και στις ιδιαιτερότητες του κάθε ανθρώπου. Συμμετέχει εθελοντικά με ενεργό ρόλο εκπαιδευτικού σε επιμορφωτικά ιατρικά συνέδρια, με θέματα διαταραχών διατροφής, σε επίπεδο πρωτοβάθμιας φροντίδας υγείας. Σημαντική κρίνεται η συμβολή της στην ενημερωτική προσπάθεια διατροφικών διαταραχών στα σχολεία όπως και σε βιωματικά σεμινάρια διατροφικής προσπέλασης σε ογκολογικούς αρρώστους με αποτέλεσμα την μεγάλη βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής τους, προληπτικά και θεραπευτικά.
