Pediatricians with experience in Breastfeeding

Η Στάμου Σταυρούλα γεννήθηκε, μεγάλωσε και σπούδασε στην Αθήνα. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών μετέβη στην Γερμανία, όπου κι ειδικεύτηκε στην παιδιατρική. Δούλεψε ως ειδικευόμενη στις παιδιατρικές κλινικές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών νοσοκομείων σε διαφορετικές πόλεις του κρατιδίου της Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας (Universitätsklinikum Essen, Helios Klinikum Wuppertal, AMEOS Klinik Oberhausen Sterkrade, Helios Klinikum Duisburg) αποκτώντας γνώση και εμπειρία σε όλους τους τομείς της παιδιατρικής και κυρίως στη νεογνολογία και τη διενέργεια υπερήχων. Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε σε μεγάλο παιδιατρείο στο Düsseldorf αποκτώντας έτσι εμπειρία στις διαφορετικές απαιτήσεις της εργασίας του ιατρού της κοινότητας. Στην διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής της πορείας έλαβε μέρος σε πολλά μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια (επείγουσα παιδιατρική, διενέργεια υπερήχων, αξιολόγηση ηλεκτροεγκεφαλογραφημάτων, διασωλήνωση και αερισμός παιδιών και νεογνών, μητρικός θηλασμός, ιατρική διατροφής παιδιών και νεογνών) αλλά και συνέδρια παιδιατρικής κι εφηβιατρικής. Έχει υπάρξει υπεύθυνη προσαρμογής ειδικευομένων στην κλινική κι εκπρόσωπός τους. Έχει διεξάγει μαθήματα για τους εκπαιδευόμενους νοσηλευτές και παρουσιάσεις για τους παιδιάτρους. Το φθινόπωρο του 2021 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα. Διατηρεί ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι Αττικής κι είναι συνεργάτης της παιδιατρικής κλινικής του νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και συνεργάτης των πολυϊατρείων Medifirst. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνη παιδίατρος των βρεφονηπιακών σταθμών στο Ζωγράφου. Είναι παντρεμένη και μητέρα δύο παιδιών. Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών όπως και του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Βόρειας Ρηνανίας και Βηστφαλίας (Ärztekammer Nordrhein). Είναι μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Παιδιατρικής και Εφηβικής Ιατρικής (DGKJ), της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Νεογνολογίας και Παιδιατρικής Εντατικής Θεραπείας (GNPI) και της Επαγγελματικής Ένωσης Παιδιάτρων και Εφήβων Γερμανίας (BVKJ). Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Συλλόγου Ιδιωτών Ιατρών Βόρειας Ρηνανίας (KV Nordrhein).

Georgiou Kleanthi is a Pediatrician - Neonatologist with a private practice in Aigaleo. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds Advanced Paediatric Life Support and Neonatal Life Support certifications. She specialized in Neonatology at the 2nd Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," and she continues to serve as a Consultant in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at IASO Hospital. She has extensive experience in pediatric intensive care and breastfeeding support. She completed her specialization at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Penteli and the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Volos. Additionally, she has worked as a Laboratory Results Physician at Biomedical Ambelokipi and at the General Clinic of Western Attica "Vougiouklakeio" in Aigaleo. Furthermore, she has served as a Physician - Coordinator at the Athens Polyclinic "Doctors Without Borders" and is a member of the Athens Medical Association.

Papadopoulou Eleni is a Dietitian - Nutritionist with a private dietary practice in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. She holds a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. As part of her ongoing professional development, she has actively participated in seminars and conferences on dietetics, nutrition, and aesthetics. In her private practice, she provides personalized nutrition programs for the prevention and management of obesity, childhood obesity, as well as sports nutrition programs and nutrition for pregnancy and breastfeeding. She also conducts intolerance tests, metabolism measurement, and body composition analysis. Finally, Ms. Papadopoulou is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians - Nutritionists.

Pagourtzi Euanthia MSc is a Dietitian - Nutritionist and the scientific director of the licensed dietetic office "Nutritional Intelligence" in the Aigaleo area since 2011. She graduated from Harokopio University in 2010, where she continued her studies by completing the postgraduate program "Applied Dietetics and Nutrition" with a specialization in "Nutrition and Exercise," in which she was awarded twice for academic excellence. Additionally, she holds a diploma from the educational program "Evidence-Based Medical Nutrition" of AUTH. She has specialized in eating disorders and adult obesity through KEADD and has completed the training cycle "Lifestyle and Cardiovascular Disease" within the framework of the ELIDEK project. In her private practice, she manages a wide range of cases including obesity, overweight, cardiovascular diseases, dyslipidemias (high cholesterol, hypertriglyceridemia), hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, insulin resistance (hyperinsulinemia), polycystic ovaries, gastrointestinal problems, anemia, autoimmune diseases, thyroid disorders, women and men of reproductive age, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, menopausal women, as well as cases involving exercisers, recreational athletes, and professional athletes. During her studies, she participated in various research projects and completed her internship in several hospitals of Attica, where she dealt with numerous clinical cases. In the past, she has worked as an instructor in public Vocational Training Institutes (IEK) and concurrently collaborates with sports teams and fitness centers. Georgios Kaniouras is a Pediatrician with a private practice in Gkyzis. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the University of Padua and a postgraduate degree in "Pediatric Nutrition" from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his specialty training in Pediatrics at the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of the University Hospital "Attikon," while also undertaking training at major hospitals in Greece and Italy. Currently, he specializes in Neonatology and Breastfeeding. Additionally, he is a scientific collaborator of the Medical Diagnostic Center "Iatrokosmos" in the Pediatric Department. During his career, he has also collaborated with the Red Cross, the pediatric dermatology clinic of the Dermatology and Venereology Hospital of Athens "Andreas Syggros," the Smile of the Child organization, as well as summer programs for children's sports activities. Finally, it is important to note that Dr. Kaniouras continuously seeks to update and enhance his knowledge in the field of Pediatrics by participating in workshops and scientific medical conferences both in Greece and abroad.

Konstantelos Dimitrios is a Pediatrician-Neonatologist and operates his private practice in Glyfada. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Dresden (TU Dresden). He specialized in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the Pediatric Clinic of the "Carl Gustav Carus" University, Dresden, Germany. His recognized scientific expertise is also demonstrated by the fact that in 2015 he was awarded the 2nd National Patient Safety Award by the German Ministry of Health for his research program titled: “Videomonitoring of the delivery room management of preterm newborns.” He is a member of the European Scientific Collaboration on Neonatal Resuscitation and has served as Head of the Neonatology Department at the Pediatric Clinic of the "Carl Gustav Carus" University in Dresden and as Pediatric Consultant at the Pediatric Clinic of the same university. Pothoulaki Eleni is a Pediatrician who has maintained a practice for 15 years in the center of Athens. She completed her studies at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Throughout her career, she has served in various hospital and regional facilities, including the "Elpis" Hospital in Athens, the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital, and the Asklipieio Hospital of Voula, as well as completing rural service at the Regional Clinic of Daphni Aigio. Dr. Papadopoulou Maria, MD, MSc, is a Pediatrician who maintains a private practice in Chalandri. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras in 2009 and specialized in Pediatrics at the General Hospital of Florina and the Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia." Trophee Mourati Eirini MSc is a Clinical Dietitian - Nutritionist, founder of the dietary unit “Trophee” in Kolonaki. She graduated from Harokopio University of Athens, where she also completed her postgraduate studies in Applied Dietetics and Nutrition with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition. Her professional focus is on addressing obesity using sustainable, realistic, and easily maintainable methods. Additionally, she has worked with a wide range of clinical cases as the chief dietitian at a group of diagnostic centers, and previously served as the head dietitian for a large gym chain.

Loukas Ioannis is a Pediatrician who maintains a private practice in Neos Kosmos. He holds a degree from Universita' degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza". He completed his specialty training at the 2nd University Pediatric Clinic of the General Children’s Hospital "Panagioti & Aglaia Kyriakou". He has accumulated professional experience from a large number of hospital institutions, and currently serves as a Scientific Collaborator for the Affidea Euroiatriki group and as a contracted pediatrician with the Ministry of National Defense. The physician participates in numerous educational conferences in Greece and abroad as part of ongoing scientific training in the latest developments in Pediatrics. Additionally, he holds EPLS (European Pediatric Life Support) certification. Finally, the physician is a member of the Athens Medical Association.

Dr. Sofia Genitsaridi is a pediatrician with a private practice based in Glyfada, Athens. She graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Patras.

She completed part of her pediatric residency with a specialization in Neonatology at the University Neonatal Clinic of Aretaieio Hospital, where she received training in neonatal resuscitation, early neonatal care, and the establishment of breastfeeding immediately after birth.

She obtained her PhD from the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with honors (“Excellent”). Her doctoral dissertation focused on the effectiveness of a personalized model of nutrition, physical activity, and psychological intervention for the prevention and management of childhood and adolescent obesity and overweight. The research was conducted at the Weight Management Center of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital.

Dr. Genitsaridi also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pediatrics – Clinical Practice and Research, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which she completed with distinction.

She worked as a scientific associate at the University Pediatric Clinic in Mainz, Germany, gaining valuable international clinical experience. Upon returning to Greece, she completed her pediatric specialization at the 1st University Pediatric Clinic of “Aghia Sophia” Children's Hospital, where she was trained in diagnosing and managing a wide range of common and rare pediatric conditions. She successfully passed the national board certification exams in Pediatrics.

Currently, Dr. Genitsaridi works as a Scientific Associate at the Pediatric Obesity Center, part of the Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes Unit of the 1st University Pediatric Clinic at “Aghia Sophia” Hospital, and serves as an Attending Pediatrician at the Athens Euroclinic for Children.

She has actively participated in numerous national and international pediatric congresses as both an attendee and invited speaker. Her academic portfolio includes multiple publications in peer-reviewed international medical journals. Dr. Genitsaridi is also certified in Neonatal Life Support (NLS) and has received extensive training in breastfeeding support through various specialized seminars.

Roussaki Eirini is a Pediatrician with a private practice in Ilioupoli. She studied at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in Pediatrics at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Nikaia Piraeus. During her specialization, she spent 2 years in the Neonatal Unit. She has extensive clinical experience, having served as a Pediatrician in the Primary Health Care sector of IKA in Ilioupoli for 17 years. She participated in the pediatric dermatology clinic for emergency dermatological cases at the 1st University Pediatric Clinic for three years and actively supported the pediatric department of MKEI (Hellenic). Noteworthy is her voluntary contribution through the Aegean Team to the residents of remote islands for over a decade. Finally, she has regularly participated in Greek and international pediatric conferences and has attended numerous seminars related to family counseling and pediatric psychology.
