Dr. Stefanos Tarazis is a Gastroenterologist – Hepatologist, MD, PhD, with extensive experience in clinical gastroenterology and interventional endoscopy. He first graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, before completing his Medical Degree at the University of Ioannina. Since 1998, he has been practicing as a private gastroenterologist in Athens. From 2005 to 2015, he served as a Scientific Associate at Evangelismos Hospital, and since 2015, he has held the position of Director of Clinical Trials and Adverse Drug Reactions at the National Organization for Medicines (EOF). In addition, since 1999, he has been a consulting physician at Mediterraneo Hospital.He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society, the Hellenic Inflammatory Bowel Disease Study Group, and the UK General Medical Council (GMC). Tyrmpas Ioannis is a Gastroenterologist-Interventional Endoscopist with private practices in Korydallos and Marousi. He holds a degree and is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has received specialized training in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Interventional Endoscopy at the University Hospital "The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh" in the United Kingdom, where he also worked as a Locum Consultant and holds the "Diploma of the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology." Kostas Athanasios MD, PhD is a Gastroenterologist with a private practice located in Kato Toumpa, Thessaloniki. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the same Medical School. He initially specialized at the General Hospital of Mytilene "Vostaneio" and completed his Gastroenterology specialty training at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko." Additionally, he has served as a Scientific Collaborator in the Endoscopy Department of the 1st Propaedeutic Clinic of the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki AHEPA. Varytimiadis Lazaros MD, MSc, FEBGH, PhD is a Gastroenterologist - Interventional Endoscopist, Deputy Director of the Gastroenterology Clinic and Endoscopy Department at MITERA Hospital, and maintains private practices in Pefki and Athens. He received a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology and completed advanced training in Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Queen Alexandra Hospital, where he was later appointed and worked as a Consultant. He specialized in Gastroenterology at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos - Athens Ophthalmological Clinic - Polyclinic," as well as in Internal Medicine at the General Prefectural Hospital of Edessa. Additionally, he holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation focused on the removal of precancerous lesions (polyps) from the gastrointestinal tract. He completed a postgraduate MSc program in Crisis Management at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated with honors from the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. It is noteworthy that his main clinical interests include complex polypectomies of large polyps (EMR, pEMR, ESD), monitoring patients with Barrett’s esophagus, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Furthermore, he has participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and advanced training seminars, has received scholarships and awards for best scientific presentations, and has delivered oral presentations and posters at various scientific meetings.

Oikonomaki - Vouroukou Eleni is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist who graduated from the General High School of Neapoli Lasithi and the Medical School of the University of Messina, Italy, with the grade "Excellent with Honors." During her medical studies, she completed an experimental thesis titled "Application of Lasers in the Treatment of Technical Injuries in Experimental Animals." In February 1989, she obtained a Medical Practice License in Italy after passing the required examinations, which was automatically recognized in Greece. She fulfilled her Rural Service at the Malies Ierapestrás rural clinic and the Ierapestrás Health Center. She served as a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion for her basic training in internal medicine and subsequently served as a resident physician in the University Gastroenterology Clinic of the same hospital. In May 1998, she successfully passed the specialty examinations in Gastroenterology – Hepatology. She then worked for two years as an unpaid Scientific Collaborator in the activities of the University Gastroenterology Clinic, specifically in hepatology. She worked as a gastroenterologist for six years at the Medical Center of Crete, Heraklion Diagnostic Center, and as the head of the endoscopy department. Additionally, she was the head of the endoscopy department at the Agios Georgios clinic for several years. Since then, she has been operating her private practice in Heraklion at 8 Arkonisou Street in Nea Alikarnassos, equipped with a fully equipped endoscopy department where endoscopies are performed (Gastroscopy – Colonoscopy – Polyp removal).

Dr. Zogas Nikolaos is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist with a clinic in Kallithea and an external collaborator of some of the largest private clinics in Athens where he performs endoscopy. He graduated from the University of Udine in Italy. He served as Director at the Department of Pathology and Gastroenterology of the University Hospital in Umeå, Västerbotten, Sweden, where he obtained two specialty titles (recognized by the Greek Authorities): Gastroenterology - Hepatology and Internal Medicine. Additionally, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Umeå, where he also served as a trainer for medical residents and nurses at the Medicinkliniken and holds, among others, certification from the two-year program Grundläggande Forskningsmetodik för läkare. He has many years of experience in monitoring hepatology patients and is particularly specialized in clinical (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, diarrheal syndromes, constipation, celiac disease, Helicobacter pylori, collagenous gastritis, etc.) and interventional gastroenterology with numerous difficult endoscopies, polypectomies, and other interventional procedures.
