Papadopoulos Vasileios

Vasileios Papadopoulos maintains a private practice in Serres and at the Ofriniou beach.

He specialized at the General Hospital of Rhodes "Andreas Papandreou" and at the 2nd Urological Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou". Subsequently, he served as a Consultant Urologist B' at the Urological Clinic of the General Hospital of Serres. The physician then moved abroad for further training in Endourology - Urinary Stone Disease and prostate disorders at the University Hospitals of Colchester (Essex), Medway Maritime, and Canterbury Hospital (Kent) in the United Kingdom. During this period, he obtained the title "Fellow of the European Board of Urology" (FEBU) following examinations. He specialized and was certified in urodynamic testing at the Bristol Urological Institute in the UK and in ultrasound study of the urinary tract at the Hippocrates General Hospital of Thessaloniki. After repatriation, the physician pursued and is completing studies in Clinical Surgical Anatomy at the Department of Anatomy of the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace - MSc(c). He was also awarded the title of Academic Fellow by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and works as a scientific collaborator at the 2nd University Urological Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a member of the Hellenic and European Urological Societies and his research work in uro-genital oncology has been recognized with publications in international high-impact journals.
