Katexis Spyros MSc, PhDc

Katexis Spyros MSc, PhDc is a Rheumatologist and maintains a private practice in Palaio Faliro. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and holds a postgraduate degree in "Biostatistics and Health Data Science" from the Medical School and the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a doctoral candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with research focusing on predictive factors and the long-term course of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. He completed his rheumatology training at the General Hospital Asklipieio Voula and currently serves as a scientific collaborator for the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology of the 4th Internal Medicine Clinic at the University General Hospital “Attikon” and is an Academic Fellow at NKUA. He has extensive hospital experience in internal medicine and rheumatology clinics, with specialized training in systemic autoimmune diseases and inflammatory arthritides. He is an active researcher with publications in international scientific journals and participation in Greek and international conferences (ACR, European Lupus Meeting). He is a member of the Hellenic Rheumatology Society (ERE), the Medical Association of Piraeus, and EULAR, and has received a scholarship from ERE for participation in ACR 2025.

In his daily clinical practice, his goal is to improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve the optimal quality of life for his patients.
