Euaggelatos Gerasimos MD, MSc, PhD

Euaggelatos Gerasimos is a Rheumatologist, Director of the Rheumatology Department at HOSPITALity General Clinic, and Scientific Collaborator of the 3rd University Internal Medicine Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

He specialized in Rheumatology at leading Greek hospitals (Laiko General Hospital of Athens, NIMTS, Hippokration General Hospital of Athens, and Hygeia Hospital), and received training at Akerhus and Martina Hansen hospitals in Oslo (Norway). He holds a license to perform rheumatologic ultrasound from the Ministry of Health, following a six-month postgraduate training at Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki.

He graduated with honors with a PhD and is an alumnus of the Medical School of NKUA. He also holds a postgraduate degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases" from the same academic institution. Dr. Euaggelatos regularly participates as a speaker or chairperson at international and Greek conferences and has an active research portfolio with 53 publications in leading international rheumatology journals and 42 presentations at international and Greek conferences.

He has received scholarships from the Hellenic Rheumatology Society (HRS), the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), the European Network of Young Rheumatologists (EMEUNET), and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO). He is a member of the editorial board of the international scientific journals Therapeutic Advances in Musculoskeletal Diseases and Mediterranean Journal of Rheumatology and has served as a peer reviewer for numerous international scientific journals.
