Manesi Sofia MSc

Manesi Sofia is a Psychologist-Psychotherapist (license no. 25558/2018), graduate of the Department of Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and holder of a Master's Degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in “Clinical Mental Health.”

She has received further training in “Clinical Psychopathology” at the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens in collaboration with EPIPSY and the Hellenic Psychiatric Association, as well as in the administration of the Rorschach and TAT projective tests from the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Institute (EPSYPE). She has attended the interdisciplinary program on “Group Dynamics in Psychiatric Settings” at the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens and has participated for several years in educational seminars and conferences of the Hellenic Psychoanalytic Society (EPE) and the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (EEPSY) on topics related to psychoanalytic approach and clinical practice. She has provided voluntary psychological support and counseling services to the Social Services of the Municipalities of Ilioupoli (2019-2020) and Agios Dimitrios (2023-2024).

Since 2020, she has been practicing clinical work privately, and since 2025 she has been volunteering as a psychologist in the Unit of Emotional Disorders and Self-Destructive Behavior at the 2nd University Psychiatric Clinic of Attikon University General Hospital. Her scientific clinical interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, panic attacks, phobias, and professional burnout.
