Halatzouka Athanasia

Athanasia Xalatzouka is a Mental Health Counselor with a private practice in Charilaou, Thessaloniki. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BA) and a Master's degree (MSc) in Counseling Psychology from the University of Sheffield. She is specialized in the Systemic Psychotherapeutic approach, particularly in panic attacks, phobias, psychosomatic problems, depression, anxiety disorders, anorexia nervosa - bulimia, and couples and family therapy. Furthermore, she has significant experience in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, having collaborated with the Center for Diagnosis of Special Education, Speech, and Psychological Support for Children and Adolescents, as well as with a Children’s Village in Filyro, Thessaloniki. In her private practice, she addresses difficulties such as anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, relationship conflicts, mental health issues in childhood and adolescence, school-related problems, marriage, separation, divorce issues, family problems, eating disorders, psychosomatic disorders, post-traumatic stress management, violence, and abuse.
