Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού & Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και έχει ολοκληρώσει μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Ορθοπαιδική Μηχανική στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Cardiff. Μετά την αποφοίτησή του ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, όπου κάτω από διαρκή αξιολόγηση, τακτικές εξετάσεις και συνεντεύξεις, ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα της Ορθοπαιδικής και Τραυματολογίας. Είναι εξειδικευμένος Χειρουργός άνω άκρου, γόνατος και αθλητικών κακώσεων και έχει ολοκληρώσει όλη την ειδικότητα και την υπερεξειδίκευση στο ειδικό γνωστικό αντικείμενό του στην Αγγλία. Μετά το πέρας της ειδικότητας, εξειδικεύτηκε στην παγκοσμίου φήμης Κλινική Ώμου - Αγκώνα στο Reading. Εργάσθηκε δε ως Διευθυντής στην ίδια κλινική και εν συνεχεία στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του East Kent. Εργάσθηκε συνεχόμενα στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο από το 2005 έως το 2019 αποκτώντας τεράστια χειρουργική εμπειρία. Διαθέτει αναλυτικό - πιστοποιημένο logbook πλέον των 6000 χειρουργείων. Επιστρέφει στην Ελλάδα μετά από 14 χρόνια παραμονής στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, έχοντας αφυπηρετήσει στην υψηλότερη βαθμίδα του μόνιμου Διευθυντή (substantive Consultant), με στόχο να παρέχει στους ασθενείς του τις πιο σύγχρονες τεχνικές διάγνωσης και θεραπείας με βάση τα διεθνή πρότυπα. Ασχολείται με όλο το φάσμα της τραυματολογίας με εξειδίκευση στην αντιμετώπιση των σύνθετων καταγμάτων του ώμου - αγκώνα. Επίσης, εξειδικεύεται στην αρθροσκόπηση ώμου - αγκώνα και γόνατος με μεγάλη χειρουργική εμπειρία και όγκο περιστατικών. Εφαρμόζει το ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας σύστημα ανάστροφης αρθροπλαστικής ώμου χωρίς stem. Είναι εταίρος (fellow) του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου των Χειρουργών του Εδιμβούργου, έχοντας ολοκληρώσει με επιτυχία τις σχετικές εξετάσεις. Επιπλέον, είναι εκπαιδευτής στο Advanced Trauma Life Support Course και στο παγκοσμίου φήμης Reading Shoulder and Elbow Course. Ταξιδεύει συχνά στην Ευρώπη όπου διδάσκει την τεχνική της ανάστροφης αρθροπλαστικής ώμου χωρίς stem. Την περίοδο 2017 - 2019 ήταν ο πρώτος Έλληνας που εκλέχτηκε μέλος της Εκπαιδευτικής Επιτροπής της Βρετανικής Εταιρίας Ώμου - Αγκώνα. Tέλος, τo 2020 εκλέχτηκε στην επιτροπή μελών της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Ώμου - Αγκώνα.
