Xalkiadaki Euaggelia MD, PhD, FEBO

Dr. Xalkiadaki Euaggelia is an Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in retinal diseases, intraocular inflammations, and cataracts. She maintains a private practice in Athens and concurrently serves as an Attending Physician at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the 251 General Air Force Hospital, where she is responsible for the Department of Retina and Intraocular Inflammations.

She completed a three-year postgraduate training program at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the world's leading specialized ophthalmology centers. There, she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, central serous chorioretinopathy, inherited and other retinal and vitreous disorders, as well as inflammatory eye diseases. In 2020, she was awarded a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Her clinic offers comprehensive ophthalmological examinations using state-of-the-art equipment and provides a personalized approach for each patient. Conditions treated include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, ocular inflammations, glaucoma, and cataracts.
