Ilektra Adamidou is a General/Family Physician with a practice in Paiania, Attica. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010 and completed her rural service in Skopelos in 2012. From 2013 until December 2024, she worked in the United Kingdom, where she completed her specialization in General Medicine at Blackpool Hospital, having prior experience in hospitals in Manchester and Liverpool. From 2019 to 2024, she lived and worked in London at major primary healthcare clinics, managing a wide range of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, depression, osteoporosis, menopause, and musculoskeletal problems. Ms. Adamidou holds a diploma in diabetes management, recognized by the University of Warwick, following a one-year training program, and has substantial experience in caring for patients with diabetes as part of her daily practice. Since January 2025, she has permanently returned to Greece and works as a medical collaborator at the Athens Medical Center in a diabetes care team. Simultaneously, she maintains her private practice in Paiania, where she offers comprehensive care for acute and chronic diseases such as infections, cough, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, depression, osteoporosis, menopause, and dyslipidemias.
