General practitioners (GPs)

Η Αρντέτα-Μαρία Μάρκου είναι Γενικός Οικογενειακός Ιατρός με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Κορωπί. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.

Μετά την αποφοίτησή της, πραγματοποίησε την υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στο Κέντρο Υγείας Μακρακώμης όπου διαχειρίστηκε οξέα και χρόνια περιστατικά. Παράλληλα, συμμετείχε στις εφημερίες του Τμήματος Επειγόντων Περιστατικών (ΤΕΠ) του Γ.Ν. Λαμίας.

Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδίκευσή της στο Γ.Ν.Α. «Ιπποκράτειο». Στο πλαίσιο της ειδικότητάς της εκπαιδεύτηκε σε όλο το φάσμα της Παθολογίας στις κλινικές, τα εξωτερικά ιατρεία και ειδικότερα στα εξειδικευμένα ιατρεία Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη και Υπέρτασης του νοσοκομείου. Επιπλέον, συμμετείχε στις εφημερίες του Τμήματος Επειγόντων Περιστατικών.

Είναι κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών (MSc) στη «Διαχείριση Γήρανσης και Χρονίων Νοσημάτων» από το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας σε συνεργασία με το Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο. Η διπλωματική της εργασία πραγματεύτηκε τις νεότερες εξελίξεις στον Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη Τύπου 2 (ΣΔ2) και την ποιότητα ζωής των ασθενών.

Έχει διατελέσει Επιμελήτρια Β’ στο Κέντρο Υγείας Καλυβίων, ασκώντας κλινικό έργο που περιλαμβάνει το σύνολο των υπηρεσιών της Πρωτοβάθμιας Φροντίδας Υγείας, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις λοιμώξεις, τον προσυμπτωματικό έλεγχο και τη θεραπευτική διαχείριση χρονίων νοσημάτων όπως σακχαρώδη διαβήτη, παχυσαρκία, δυσλιπιδαιμία και υπέρταση. Κατά τη διάρκεια της θητείας της στο κέντρο υγείας συμμετείχε στο πρόγραμμα Sentinel για την επιδημιολογική επιτήρηση λοιμώξεων του ΕΟΔΥ.

Η ιατρός συμμετέχει ενεργά σε επιστημονικά συνέδρια και ενημερώνεται διαρκώς για τις διεθνείς ιατρικές εξελίξεις. Στο ιδιωτικό της ιατρείο παρέχει εξατομικευμένη φροντίδα συνδυάζοντας την κλινική εμπειρία με την εξειδικευμένη γνώση στη διαχείριση οξέων και χρόνιων παθήσεων.

Dr. Theodoros Lagarias is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in Primary Health Care and medical education. He began his medical career as a resident physician at the General Hospital of Chania, serving from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, he held the position of General Practitioner at the Health Center of Agia, Larissa, advancing to the rank of Senior Registrar (Grade A) from 2011 until 2024.​

Between 2017 and 2024, Dr. Lagarias served as the coordinator for the training of resident physicians in General/Family Medicine at the General Hospital of Larissa, playing a pivotal role in their clinical and scientific development. Concurrently, he contributed to undergraduate medical education by participating as an instructor during educational visits of medical students from the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to Primary Health Care units.​

Dr. Lagarias holds certifications in emergency pre-hospital care and in the early detection and prevention of mental disorders, the latter obtained through the Vocational Training Center of the Mental Health Center in Chania. He has actively participated in numerous educational activities, both as a trainee and as a lecturer, including seminars, conferences, and training workshops.​

Konstantinidou Kyriaki is a General Practitioner with many years of presence and experience in the Primary Health Care sector, maintaining a private practice in Alimos. Simultaneously, she is actively engaged as a Director in the National Health System. Since 2004, she has served as a General Practitioner at the 5 Primary Care Clinics of Avlida, additionally performing on-call duties at the Psachna Health Center, undertaking home visits in the villages of the area and managing emergency cases. In the past, she has served as an auxiliary physician at the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB) as well as in rural clinics such as those in Nea Karia, Kapandriti Health Center, and Skyros Primary Care. She also has experience as a physician at sports events and children’s camps. She is a graduate of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and has completed postgraduate studies in Public Health (MSc) at the National School of Public Health. She has specialized in Emergency Prehospital Medicine through a training program of EKAB and in prehospital trauma care (Prehospital Trauma Life Support – PHTLS) by the Hellenic Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, she has attended for three years educational programs in trainer education, psychosocial skills, and mental health promotion at the Psychiatric Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), highlighting the holistic and person-centered nature of her medical approach. With professionalism, continuous training, and a patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Konstantinidou Kyriaki provides reliable medical care, covering a broad spectrum of the modern patient’s needs.

Fountouli Nefeli - Maria is a Specialist in General and Family Medicine with clinical experience in managing chronic diseases, focusing on diabetes mellitus, obesity, and metabolism. She is certified by SCOPE (Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education) from the World Obesity Federation, with specialized training in the modern and scientifically validated management of obesity. Dr. Fountouli is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Crete and holds a Master's Degree in Leadership, Innovation, and Value-based Health Policies. She collaborates with the Diabetes Unit and Obesity Unit of a major private medical center and participates as a researcher in international clinical studies. She provides personalized, holistic care grounded in scientific evidence and a patient-centered approach, addressing both preventive and therapeutic needs in adults.

Zagkalis Theologos is a General Practitioner providing online medical services. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Varna Medical University and holds a postgraduate specialization degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health. He served as a salaried resident physician during his ten-month training for obtaining the General Medicine specialty at the Nea Makri Health Center and later at the General Hospital of Athens "Korgialenio - Benakeio" - Hellenic Red Cross. He has held the position of Assistant General Practitioner, grade B Registrar, at the Primary Health Care Center - Lavrio Health Center, and Assistant General Practitioner with the rank of NHS Physician, Registrar B, at the Primary Health Care Center - Nea Makri Health Center. Finally, from 2022 to 2025, he collaborated with Affidea in the 24-hour DrOnline program, a telemedicine platform offering consultations via text messages and video calls, and was responsible for conducting pre-insurance medical examinations for applicants on behalf of Ethniki Insurance.

Dr. Nikolaos Kakolyris is a Family Doctor and operates a private practice in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. He holds a Medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in General Medicine, completing his specialization in 2002 after passing the relevant exams in Athens. Throughout his professional career, he has served in various medical and administrative roles, providing specialized care and managing cases in both hospital and primary care settings. Dr. Kakolyris started his career as an auxiliary physician at the Dialysis Unit of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, and later worked as an Assistant Consultant in General Medicine at the General Hospital of Ierapetra until 2011, when he advanced to the position of Consultant in the National Health Service (ESY). On March 15, 2019, he was promoted to the role of Director and Head of the Emergency Department (ED) at the General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos (GNA), where he assumed full scientific responsibility for the department. In 2021, he was appointed Coordinator at the Local Health Unit (TOMY) of Agios Nikolaos, where he contributed to the organization and coordination of the COVID-19 vaccination center while retaining his responsibility for the Emergency Department. Additionally, he served as the Coordinator for the Education of General Medicine Residents at the Agios Nikolaos Hospital and participated in the development of the training program for the specialty. Dr. Kakolyris holds a Ph.D. from the University of Crete, with his doctoral thesis focusing on the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Primary Health Care and General Medicine. He has participated in numerous scientific studies and publications, several of which were published in international scientific journals and presented at international conferences. His research experience extends to collaborative projects, including the INTERREG 3 Greece-Cyprus initiative aimed at improving patient management in Health Centers with the support of new technologies. Furthermore, he was an integral member and Vice President of the Hellenic Primary Care Respiratory Group (HePCRG), which represented the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) in Greece. Dr. Kakolyris has contributed to many scientific actions, including the translation of guidelines for primary care respiratory diseases and smoking cessation approaches. He has also conducted educational activities, providing training to medical students, high school students, and conducting informational sessions on television regarding smoking and burn care. Holding certifications in Emergency Medicine (ALS Provider), as well as additional advanced training programs, Dr. Kakolyris remains an active member of the medical community and continues to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in the Lasithi region, participating in various scientific and professional organizations.

Zaxariadis Konstantinos is a General Practitioner who maintains a private practice in Nea Smyrni. He holds a degree in Medicine and Pharmacy from the University of Craiova and has specialized in general medicine at the General State Hospital of Nikaia. Simultaneously, he continuously attends numerous national and international conferences to ensure his ongoing education. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and holds a Master's Degree in Modern Clinical Laboratory Approaches to Lung Cancer from the General Hospital for Chest Diseases "SOTIRIA." Dimitra Kyriakou is a General / Family Physician with extensive experience in Primary Health Care and the public health system (NHS). She maintains a private clinic in Tripoli, offering comprehensive prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring services for the entire family. She has completed Postgraduate Studies in "Primary Health Care" and has further training in Diabetes Mellitus, with a focus on modern management and patient education. The clinic's goal is holistic patient care, health promotion, and disease prevention through personal contact, scientific documentation, and respect for each individual's needs. Dr Kapitsimadis Fragkiskos is a General Practitioner and operates two private clinics located at Kifisias Avenue 119 and Solomou Dionysiou Street 22 in Marousi. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation titled "The effects of atmospheric pollution on the respiratory system of postal workers: A study in the Attica basin." He specialized in General Medicine at the General State Hospital of Athens and holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Additionally, Dr Kapitsimadis was awarded the Environmental Sensitivity Award in the category of "scientific study" during the Oikopolis 2010 event.

Lyritsi Eirini is a General Practitioner specialized in Family Medicine, graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. She completed her specialization at Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki, Karditsa General Hospital, as well as the University General Hospital of Heraklion. She holds an ALS certification and has completed further training in Emergency Prehospital Medicine.

She worked as an Attending Physician A in the National Health System (Trikala General Hospital and Naxos General Hospital-Health Center) for 15 years and at the Swiss Biological Medical Centre in Cyprus, a holistic medicine center (chronic pain and holistic approaches including acupuncture, homeopathy, vitamin therapy, nutrition, and exercise).

Since 2021, she has been working in a private clinic in Switzerland (Permanence Medcenter Luzern) managing acute and chronic cases.

Simultaneously, she provides telemedicine consulting in collaboration with Dr Online and NN since 2022.

She is fluent in English and German and has sufficient proficiency in Italian.

Tsantilas Apostolos MD, MSc is a General Practitioner who maintains a private practice in Melissia. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his postgraduate studies in "International Medicine/Health Crisis Management" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, he graduated from the Military Officers School of Corps (SSAS) and holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous hospitals, and currently, alongside his private practice, he serves as an Emergency and Chronic Cases Physician at the "Medifirst" Polyclinic, Consultant at the Emergency Department of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens, and collaborates with the Elderly Care Home "Agios Symeon." Finally, the doctor has served as an instructor at the Combat Nursing School within the Army Special Forces Directorate, as well as at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Voultsidis Nikolaos is a General Practitioner and maintains a private practice in Thasos. He provides electronic prescription services as well as the issuance of certificates to citizens with activated electronic prescription. He completed his studies (MD) at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, Department of Medicine. Trigonis Sotirios is a General Practitioner with a private practice in Agia Paraskevi.
