General practitioners (GPs)

Ilektra Adamidou is a General/Family Physician with a practice in Paiania, Attica. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010 and completed her rural service in Skopelos in 2012. From 2013 until December 2024, she worked in the United Kingdom, where she completed her specialization in General Medicine at Blackpool Hospital, having prior experience in hospitals in Manchester and Liverpool. From 2019 to 2024, she lived and worked in London at major primary healthcare clinics, managing a wide range of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, depression, osteoporosis, menopause, and musculoskeletal problems. Ms. Adamidou holds a diploma in diabetes management, recognized by the University of Warwick, following a one-year training program, and has substantial experience in caring for patients with diabetes as part of her daily practice. Since January 2025, she has permanently returned to Greece and works as a medical collaborator at the Athens Medical Center in a diabetes care team. Simultaneously, she maintains her private practice in Paiania, where she offers comprehensive care for acute and chronic diseases such as infections, cough, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, depression, osteoporosis, menopause, and dyslipidemias.

Konstantinidou Kyriaki is a General Practitioner with many years of presence and experience in the Primary Health Care sector, maintaining a private practice in Alimos. Simultaneously, she is actively engaged as a Director in the National Health System. Since 2004, she has served as a General Practitioner at the 5 Primary Care Clinics of Avlida, additionally performing on-call duties at the Psachna Health Center, undertaking home visits in the villages of the area and managing emergency cases. In the past, she has served as an auxiliary physician at the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB) as well as in rural clinics such as those in Nea Karia, Kapandriti Health Center, and Skyros Primary Care. Diamanti Elpida is General - Family Physician and runs a private practice near the "Katehaki" metro station. She specialized at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She has also worked as a physician at the coordination center of EKAV-KEPY. He graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and completed his residency in General Family Medicine at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou" and the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papanikolaou." He has completed more than 400 on-call shifts in Emergency Departments and has worked as a Rural Doctor in Health Centers, gaining valuable experience in managing both urgent and chronic cases. Additionally, he is active in telemedicine, providing medical services through international platforms across Europe and the USA. He has received further training in Ultrasonography, having conducted his education at the University Hospital of Ioannina. He has also trained in and practices Homeopathic Medicine, offering alternative and complementary therapies always based on scientific evidence and an individualized approach. Stamouli Euaggelia PhD is a General Practitioner and operates a private clinic in Kifisia. She is a graduated Doctor with honors and an alumna of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She specialized in General Family Medicine at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and in 2004, after examinations, acquired the specialty title in General Medicine. She has gained valuable professional experience, having worked for several years in the Directorate of Public Health and Social Services at the Municipality of Piraeus and the Prefecture of Athens, and served as an auxiliary physician at the National Center for Emergency Care of Athens. Currently, she is an External Collaborator in clinical and scientific activities of the Psychogeriatric Clinic at the 1st University Psychiatric Clinic of Aeginiteio Hospital of Athens. Sarakinou Panagiota MD, PhD is a Specialist General Practitioner with a private practice in Ilisia, in the Hilton area. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Rome in Italy (Universita di Roma "La Sapienza") with postgraduate degrees in Clinical Nutrition and Diabetes from the same University. He specializes in Primary Supportive - Consultative Nutrition for prevention and treatment of health problems. With the aim of continuing education in her field, she attends international conferences in the fields of nutrition, obesity and rheumatology - cutaneous autoimmune diseases. She has been practicing general family medicine at primary level for about 15 years. Dr. Nikolaos Kakolyris is a Family Doctor and operates a private practice in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. He holds a Medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in General Medicine, completing his specialization in 2002 after passing the relevant exams in Athens. Throughout his professional career, he has served in various medical and administrative roles, providing specialized care and managing cases in both hospital and primary care settings. Dr. Kakolyris started his career as an auxiliary physician at the Dialysis Unit of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, and later worked as an Assistant Consultant in General Medicine at the General Hospital of Ierapetra until 2011, when he advanced to the position of Consultant in the National Health Service (ESY). On March 15, 2019, he was promoted to the role of Director and Head of the Emergency Department (ED) at the General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos (GNA), where he assumed full scientific responsibility for the department. In 2021, he was appointed Coordinator at the Local Health Unit (TOMY) of Agios Nikolaos, where he contributed to the organization and coordination of the COVID-19 vaccination center while retaining his responsibility for the Emergency Department. Additionally, he served as the Coordinator for the Education of General Medicine Residents at the Agios Nikolaos Hospital and participated in the development of the training program for the specialty. Dr. Kakolyris holds a Ph.D. from the University of Crete, with his doctoral thesis focusing on the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Primary Health Care and General Medicine. He has participated in numerous scientific studies and publications, several of which were published in international scientific journals and presented at international conferences. His research experience extends to collaborative projects, including the INTERREG 3 Greece-Cyprus initiative aimed at improving patient management in Health Centers with the support of new technologies. Furthermore, he was an integral member and Vice President of the Hellenic Primary Care Respiratory Group (HePCRG), which represented the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) in Greece. Dr. Kakolyris has contributed to many scientific actions, including the translation of guidelines for primary care respiratory diseases and smoking cessation approaches. He has also conducted educational activities, providing training to medical students, high school students, and conducting informational sessions on television regarding smoking and burn care. Holding certifications in Emergency Medicine (ALS Provider), as well as additional advanced training programs, Dr. Kakolyris remains an active member of the medical community and continues to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in the Lasithi region, participating in various scientific and professional organizations.

Dr Kapitsimadis Fragkiskos is a General Practitioner and operates two private clinics located at Kifisias Avenue 119 and Solomou Dionysiou Street 22 in Marousi. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation titled "The effects of atmospheric pollution on the respiratory system of postal workers: A study in the Attica basin." He specialized in General Medicine at the General State Hospital of Athens and holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Papadopoulou Elina is a physician specializing in General Family Medicine. She operates her private practice, “FamilyMed Center,” in Argos and Kiveri. She specialized at the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas.” She has received additional training in emergency prehospital medicine, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and infections. She is also trained in medical acupuncture. She holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational and Environmental Health from the National School of Public Health. She worked for 20 years in the National Health System (ESY), the last 12 years as a Consultant at the Lygourio Health Center, with on-call duties at the Nafplio and Argos Hospitals. Dr. Karagiannaki Anastasia, MSc, PhD, is a Specialist Physician in General - Family Medicine, Scientific Collaborator of the Pathology Department at the General Clinic of Thessaloniki and the Emergency Department at "Agios Loukas" Clinic, and maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Thessaly (M.D.). She has served as a Scientific Collaborator at the Eating Disorders Center "With a New Disposition" in Thessaloniki. Her clinical experience includes many years of service as a Specialist Physician in the Pathology Clinic of the General Clinic of Thessaloniki and in the Emergency Department at the General Hospital "Agios Loukas" of Thessaloniki, as well as extensive previous training as a Resident Physician at the General Hospital of Larissa, Hippokratio Hospital of Thessaloniki, Agios Pavlos Hospital of Thessaloniki, and the General Hospital of Volos. Georgakopoulos Stauros is a General Practitioner with a private practice in Ilisia. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. Lyritsi Eirini is a General Practitioner specialized in Family Medicine, graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. She completed her specialization at Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki, Karditsa General Hospital, as well as the University General Hospital of Heraklion. She holds an ALS certification and has completed further training in Emergency Prehospital Medicine.

She worked as an Attending Physician A in the National Health System (Trikala General Hospital and Naxos General Hospital-Health Center) for 15 years and at the Swiss Biological Medical Centre in Cyprus, a holistic medicine center (chronic pain and holistic approaches including acupuncture, homeopathy, vitamin therapy, nutrition, and exercise).

Since 2021, she has been working in a private clinic in Switzerland (Permanence Medcenter Luzern) managing acute and chronic cases.

Simultaneously, she provides telemedicine consulting in collaboration with Dr Online and NN since 2022.

She is fluent in English and German and has sufficient proficiency in Italian.

Dr. Psyxa Valentini is a General Practitioner who operates her private practice in Dafni. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in General Medicine at GNA Laiko Hospital. She holds a postgraduate diploma specializing in "Neoplastic Disease in Humans: Contemporary Clinicopathological Approach and Research" and has attended advanced training seminars organized by the Hellenic Atherosclerosis Society, of which she is a member, and has obtained a Certification in Lipidology. The physician holds ACLS and ATLS certifications and was trained in Medical Acupuncture at the International Advanced Training Center for Acupuncture AcuScience, under the direction of Miltiadis Karavis. She has worked as an Assistant Registrar B' in General Medicine at the Dafni Health Center and the Ilioupoli Health Center from 2016 to 2021. As a physician, she served at the Kapi Lesvos Regional Clinic as part of fulfilling her mandatory Rural Service, as an assistant in the pathology department of the private Doctors Hospital clinic, at concert and exhibition centers, as well as in children’s summer camps.

Education & Specialization: I am a member of the Swiss Medical Association and a graduate of Medicine with a Master of Science (MSc) in Social-Preventive Medicine and Quality in Healthcare from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My clinical experience is multidimensional, having served in critical departments such as Internal Medicine, High Dependency Units (HDU), COVID-19 wards, and Emergency Departments (ER). Additionally, I hold International Certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS) in the USA.

With extensive experience in treating obesity, I specialize in the management of patients with cardiometabolic risk factors. At our practice, we treat cases of both upper and lower respiratory tract infections, as well as urinary tract infections. We also manage patients across the full spectrum of cardiometabolic diseases and Chronic Condition Management, including: Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Dyslipidemia (High Cholesterol Levels), Obesity. We offer personalized treatment plans that target the root of metabolic disorders, based on scientific evidence and a patient-centered approach.
