Karydianaki Maria

Maria Karydianaki is a psychologist specializing in Lacanian psychoanalytic orientation. She graduated from the Department of Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has completed training programs in "Child and Adolescent Psychiatry" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and "Introduction to Clinical Psychology" at the University of the Aegean. She has been engaged for several years in the Lacanian Orientation with emphasis on clinical training and is a member of the Lacanian Psychoanalysis Forum of Athens. She has worked as a psychologist in daycare centers, day centers with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as in specialized treatment centers for children and adolescents in Athens and Crete. Currently, she works privately with children from infancy through early adulthood, while also collaborating with parents in the context of parental counseling. Her therapeutic work addresses the full spectrum of mental difficulties and disorders, such as autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and anxiety disorders, and feeding disorders, with the possibility of collaboration with a child psychiatrist when it serves the child's needs. Through the psychoanalytic orientation, the child is placed at the center of the therapeutic process, gaining space to express themselves and allowing for the processing of symptoms and difficulties.
