Υποεξειδικεύτηκε στην επεμβατική καρδιολογία και δομική καρδιολογία (TAVI, MitraClip, Watchman) στο University of Minnesota στις ΗΠΑ (εργάστηκε στο VA MPLS, Fairview Hospital, Southdale Hospital).  Είναι Διπλωματούχος του Αμερικάνικου Κολλεγίου Καρδιολογίας. Του έχει απονεμηθεί μετά από εξετάσεις ο Αμερικάνικος Τίτλος Υποειδικότητας στην Καρδιολογία (ABIM- Cardiology) και την Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία  (ABIM- Interventional Cardiology). Είναι πιστοποιημένος μετά από εξετάσεις στους υπερήχους (board certified - National Board of  Echocardiography).  Έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά και έχει παρουσιάσει σε ελληνικά, αμερικάνικα και ευρωπαϊκά  συνέδρια. Είναι μέλος του Αμερικάνικου Κολλεγίου Καρδιολογίας, καθώς και της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Καρδιολογίας. Στο ιατρείο του αναλαμβάνει περιστατικά που καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα της καρδιολογίας, ενώ επίσης εξειδικεύεται στα  στεφανιαία αγγεία και τις βαλβιδοπάθειες (επεμβατική και δομική καρδιολογία).

Ο Διαμαντης ειναι εξαιρετικος καρδιολογος και ταυτοχρονα πολυ φιλικος ανθρωπος. Εχει αριστη επιστημονικη καταρτιση (ειδικοτητα στις ΗΠΑ) αλλα και πολυ βαθυ ενδαιφερον για τους ασθενεις του και την δουλεια του. Τον συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα.
