Tsoukalas Georgios

Tsoukalas Georgios is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis Specialist, former Director of the 6th Pulmonology Clinic at Metropolitan General, and maintains a private practice in Kolonaki. He holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD. He completed postgraduate training in the Study of Patients with Sleep Apnea at Ospedale Luigi Sacco in Milan and holds a Laser Operator Diploma, obtained through examinations at the Medizin Zentrum in Berlin. Notably, he is also a fellow of the Onassis Foundation for Post Doctoral Studies at the University of Milan. He served for 17 years as Coordinating Director of the 4th Pulmonology Clinic at the General Hospital for Chest Diseases of Athens "Sotiria," Head of the Second Pathology Department for 8 years, Head of the Bronchology Laboratory, and also President of the Scientific Council of the hospital. In 2005, he was elected Assistant Professor of Pulmonology at the University of Patras. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and is responsible for conducting scientific research protocols. Finally, he has several publications in Greek medical journals and recognized international medical journals and has been awarded three times for the best work by the Hellenic Thoracic Society.
