I-Physio Santorinaios Iakovos

I-Physio Santorinaios Iakovos is a clinical physiotherapist, director, and scientific officer of the Model Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center i-physio, specializing in orthopedic – musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He studied at the Alexandrio University of Thessaloniki and completed his internship in 2007 at the General Hospital Asklipieio Voulas. During his studies, he worked as an assistant physiotherapist for the second national football league teams "PAE Agrotikos Asteras" and "PAE Makedonikos." Upon obtaining his degree, he worked as the lead physiotherapist for the "KAE Makedonikos" team. In March 2008, he provided his services as scientific manager of a major physiotherapy center in the Nea Smyrni area. In January 2010, he founded the first home physiotherapy company in Athens under the name "Physio@home." In December 2012, he established the Model Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center i-physio, having secured agreements with the two largest medical technology equipment companies for nationwide exclusive use of machines. In 2016, he undertook further training focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy using the Mulligan and McKenzie techniques and simultaneously became certified in Italy as the first Pagani application specialist in Te.C.A.R, ESWT, and Laser technologies in Greece. In 2018, he was certified as a specialist therapist in myofascial release using the Ergon Technique and subsequently pursued postgraduate studies specializing in Manual Therapy. The Model Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center i-physio is pioneering both in terms of state-of-the-art equipment with nationwide exclusive use and modern techniques. It is housed in a 250 sq.m. facility with ten autonomous treatment rooms and is supported by a highly competent and well-trained team.
