Dimitrios Gerontitis is an Accredited Specialist in the Interventional Treatment of Arrhythmias (Interventional Electrophysiology - ECES and Cardiac Devices - ECDS) by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA). He has also been certified by the British Society of Echocardiography in Transthoracic Echocardiography and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (RCP). In addition to his clinical activities, he has a keen interest in research and teaching. He has organized training sessions for cardiology residents and was responsible for organizing "EP traces" at Wessex Deanery. He has completed the post-graduate module "Teaching and Learning in Medical Education" at University College London.
