Retsianis Thomas

Retsianis Thomas is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician who has maintained a private practice in Larissa since 2015. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and received his specialty certification in Obstetrics - Gynecology from the University Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University Hospital of Larissa. He is a Certified European Training Center in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG). He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy, certified in diagnostic colposcopy, and a member of the Hellenic Society for HPV Research and Management, certified in theoretical HPV training. Additionally, he is a member of the Hellenic Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the Hellenic Society of the Lower Genital Tract, and the Hellenic Society of Climacteric and Menopause. His particular areas of interest include cervical pathology and HPV, biomarkers in gynecological cancer, gynecological and obstetric ultrasound—having obtained a six-month postgraduate certification in ultrasound at the University Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital of Larissa—preventive medicine from adolescence to menopause, aesthetic gynecology, and bioethics, holding a Master's degree from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.
